I know technically lichens are not exactly plants, but maybe anyone has some experience growing them? I think it would be cool to have something like xanthoria parietina in home, they supposedly glow under UV
from what I understand most mushrooms are fairly easy to grow, and mushrooms are the other half of lichens, so shouldn't be that hard, I imagine. I would consider looking up some terrariums or vivariums for inspiration, controlling humidity is likely important for them. A cursory youtube search shows there are people discussing this, so I suggest looking at some of those videos to start with.
