I caught 3 mice but there's one holdout that's too clever or cautious for the ethical trap. Tiny bits of droppings near the trap vent tells me it's definitely checking out the peanut butter bait, but unlike its friends this one doesn't enter the trap. How do I catch this one without killing it, or should I just put a glue trap outside the no-kill trap vents?

Use a roller trap lot less messy than glue traps.

Use chocolate with your peanut butter.
I tried peanut butter, cheese, and a couple other things to get mine, but chocolate ultimately got him. Rodents can handle a bit of chocolate, so it won't make him sick.
