ackshyually that's an echolocation organ called the melon; the brain, like other mammals, is kept safe inside the skull
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Melon_(cetacean)
tl;dr is that it's just a big lump of fatty tissue on cetaceans' heads, used like a sound lens to focus/modulate vocalizations
if I'm correct in identifying the one in that webm as a beluga, then apparently it has a malleable melon that it can adjust the shape of at will

Remove food sources and nesting locations and the rats will vacate eventually.
Make take a few weeks or a few months.
Adding traps will apply additional motivation.
Afterwards, considerable effort would be required to cleanse and repair the building.

But this bloke would never put down the effort to do such a thing.
Far too lazy.
So lazy in fact, that he would rather move than try to reclaim his home.

There is no such implication. A parasite and its host also "live together" (parasitism, like commensalism and mutualism, is a type of symbiosis)

They're smart and curious animals. They enjoy watching things outside their tanks just as much as things outside enjoy looking in. And, like all social mammals, they want some sort of interaction, at least occasionally and have learned that doing that gets a reaction. If you notice, they rarely do that at adults but they love to do it to children because children will shriek. The sound travels through the glass and water and they hear it. It must be gratifying to them to get such an obvious reaction like that.

It's completely fair for a cop to hesitate to grab wildlife. They're not animal control; if they get bit it obviously won't kill them, but it's a retarded risk to be taking for no reason.
You really want to be the guy who needs to get a rabies shot because you were wrestling with a beaver like a fucking retard? Can anyone tell about the duck body language here? When the first male gets interrupted and runs after the second with his head lowered to the ground, is this aggression or submission?
Just curious what the dynamic there was, was the interrupting duck a Chad asserting his dominance and not letting the beta score, or just a clumsy retard who happened to stumble upon the scene and ruin the moment?

first mallard was about to get his rape on, the second smelled that duck puss and came to get a slice, the first got distracted while the second dodged him and got closer to the female instead, so she bugged out. The first mallard sees the interloper is now next to him and the female got away, so he's angry about the duckblock and chases the second one. It's aggression, and the interrupting duck seems to be a clumsy retard. If it was challenging the first mallard for the female it would have been controntational, but it looks like zero of its attention was on the first male. That's what I see at least.

I got befriended by a young squirrel boy living in a tree in front of my house and got a bunch of silly videos of him, but they could be easily used to geolocate me so I don't think I can post them.
I had pet guinea pigs before, it's interesting to see how a squirrel is similar to them in many small behaviors (being a rodent of roughly similar size), but is also a few orders of magnitude smarter. Or maybe my piggers were just dum, dunno.
Anyway, bump.
