Technically every house a dog lives in is a doghouse
>>
Dogs used to be working animals, relatively few breeds were intended to be pets. Today things have changed, relatively few people have working dogs, instead they are surrogate family members that people keep indoors.

This is also why people run into problems with dog behavior:
>I want a doggie!
>That one, because I like the way it looks! It's cool just like those I saw on TweetyBook!
>No, I'm not going to learn about the history of the breed and what things that kind of dog needs to do in order to satiate its incredible inbred autism
>Buys terrier
>Wonders why it chases everything smaller than it
>Leaves dog at home alone all day while they're at work
>Ignores dog while they're at home because too busy texting
>Wonders why the dog 'acts out' and scratches up the carpet
>Poor doggo just wants to kill some rats like she was bred for...but you didn't think about that. You just thought about your social media pics
Many such cases.

This was only ever a hick thing unless keeping outdoor guard dogs. House dogs were a thing in egypt, greece, rome, and mesopotamia.

Doghouses are for specific dogs like LSGDs and prottie midwestern hicks.

See, you can just tell this poster is a flyover american. They’re basically muslim except they stand with israel and their chief cultural achievement is making their states more financially atrractive to businesses from elsewherebb

Cityslickers/yankees/yuppies just can't help but embarrass themselves, lmao.
>Only hicks do that! Even though dogs were kept outside for all of human history! Hicks hicks hicks!
>x is a thing!
>Prottie! Haha protties!
>Flyover! You're from the bad no-no place where there's more animals than people!
>You're just ummmm you're just like muslims or something! Even though the only similarity is that you and them are both different from me!
>atrractive

fyi the ENTIRE FUCKING COUNTRY is suffering from the heartworm and rabies issues you dumb thirdie fucks can never handle yourselves (you cant, all your dogs are perennial strays), since these diseases constantly push north every fucking summer, and all of our fucking pitbulls are imported from hick and flyover shelters (all overflowing bcuz muh outdoor dawgz yall) and you are the idiots who breed those godawful “dogs” in the first place. God forgive the clueless women who have no idea they’re “rescuing” a non-domesticated former dog from non-domesticated former humans!

Total flyover prottie death
Civilize literally any time instead of just legislating tax havens into existence and letting better people own small pockets of wealth in yah-awls monocropped to death corn fields, mister “my people singhehandledly caused the dust bowl”
>>

Only livestock guard dogs and junkyard dogs in the middle of nowhere have ever lived outside with few exceptions for people who are basically dog hoarders (people who go dog sledding for prize money). Even traditional, pre-civilization sled dog keepers shared one pack of dogs with the whole village and they slept inside to stay safe from bears/wolves and keep the igloo/tent warm.

Most dogs can't even afford the down payment on a dog house these days, so they're forced to live with roommates of other species to pay rent.

My dog sleeps in bed with me, and the GF if she sleeps over. GF understands that unless she’s getting plowed my bed is George’s bed, she’s a guest. George sleeps under the covers in the wintertime because he gets cold. No homo. Love George more than GF who’s a 9/10 and 11 years younger than me. This is George, no I will not post GF.

I would also like to add that George is exceptional based, even for a dog.

>leave dog outside when I'm at work during the day because it feels nicer (can go tot he bathroom whenever, fresh air, sunshine, can do some laps around the yard if bored)
>build her a dog house in case it rains or something
>it rains
>she just sits in the fucking rain waiting by the door when she knows I'm not home instead of sitting in the doghouse (also by the door) and staying dry
>>
