Is there a real life place in nature that feels in anyway meaningful or spiritual to you?
I'd imagine anywhere in nature that's peaceful would feel spiritual. Unfortunate I live in a depressing city with little natural beauty.

I find that a lot of people prefer climates today that correlate with what their family lineage would have had to put up with historically. Dampness, humidity, fresh air and petrichor, I feel drawn to it. Marshes. Bogs and swamps. I live no where near any but I know historically my ancestors would have been surrounded by such conditions in the region prior to the advent of extensive agriculture. If you want to speak about spiritual connections I think it is unique to most people and their family history. Culture doesn't effect preference because I know 2nd generation middle east asians who can't stand the weather here and want to go to their grandparents homecountry where they feel more physically comfortable.
