Unlike most people that need to constantly touch their pet. Nothing satisfies me more than knowing that my adorable creature is cozy, comfortable, living its best life, and feels safe. I don't need it to play with me. If it doesn't want to be touched, I respect that. When I take a shit, I watch videos of squirrels living in a squirrel tree-house, napping during a thunderstorm. Or videos of a burrowing lemming sleeping in its cozy tunnel during winter. Shit is great. I would go as far as giving it a deep substrate bioactive emclosure so it can feel safe. What would be a good burrowing pet or pets, that fits this description? Hamsters, degus, gerbils, etc? Which pet is best at cozymaxxing?
I saw a dead gerbil outside of CVS the other day : (
