Open fields with a fiew trees, borders between woods and fields, villages, backroads, especially rural but sometimes urban areas with trees and water. It's more likely to spot animals in any of these places than in the woods. For example, I've seen 3 foxes. 2 of them from my car on the backroads (one was alive and the other one nit so much). Only the third one was in the woods but it was so dark I'm not sure it was a fox and not something else like a strau dog.

>>5109873Depends on the wild life. Living in an urban area after spending time in rural areas. I definitely see more foxes in urban areas. However, I've never seen a Jay outside of wooded areas or Grebe out of water so, it's really about what you want to see.I think there's a lot to be said about reconsidering where we go to watch animals and encouraging them in urban areas
