> me buys a Lowe’s pitcher plant a while back (sat) >gets distilled water for it >it wilts and yellows despite being bagged misted and having breathing holes as well as adequate sunlight :d (I think..?)I don’t know what I’m doing wrong (overwatering possibly..?) and why it keeps wilting.. and yellowing/browning ;-; could someone pls give guidance or at least redirect me to where I can get quick remote help?
Carnivorous plants are so fucking fragile as houseplants. My suggestion is let it die, as it is unfit for this world, and get succulents that need water once a month and function just fine. That's one group of plants that really act like they want to be here.

>>5110480Have you tried giving it water? That plant is dry as fuck. This is a wetland plant. It should be half submerged. Use distilled or RO water. But yeah this one looks like it's toast.

it might be too dead to save. these plants need to be constantly water-logged and kept outside in full sun to eat insects (or manually fed insects weekly/as needed to maintain nutrients). they will also die in weather under 80°
