Doing these two things restores the planet's natural warming oceanic belt around the equator which has been missing for about half of the Cenozoic. Then intentionally melt the Greenland ice sheet which actually shouldn't take that long if real effort was put in. That speeds up the process. Do this and you've basically solved the Earth's climate problem. The Himalayas will have to be removed also. But even with them still in place if those three things were done the world will warm and become significantly moister.

If anything, pumping co2 into the atmosphere is a net gain for the biosphere of the earth, which has been losing Co2 for hundreds of millions of years due to shellfish depositing carbon into the ocean floor.
