It can be trained and refined to be used on a farm - or left as is to be “wasted” on toys and fucking around. No husky ever thought “i must pull sleds in the arctic” they just want to run, bond readily with other dogs and get lonely without them, handle temperature extremes well, and only one out of twelve will want to listen to people that much. It’s supportive of their “purpose” but doesn’t necessitate it. All but the most neurotic grand champion $20k herder can be any dog to anyone who has the free time the dog needs. Which is why people are told to adopt, not shop, because kennel clubs love shitting out neurotic hyper-driven dogs with 10 year lifespans that are awful pets because they do their “job” 10% more reliably if they are (the job is always a larp anyways, everyone hunts with guns and herds with quads and drones now)I dont listen to people who cant spell canine btw.
