Is there anywhere in the US I can buy a few acres of completely unusable forested land for dirt cheap?
Every listing for "undeveloped land" is just single-home plots in unbuilt subdivisions. I want something that will never be suitable for building on completely wild, impassible terrain. Like a forgotten inaccessible corner of some failed 19th-century mining claim that's worth pennies because it'll never be possible to develop.

no, conglomerates caught onto this trick 30 years ago and own 99% of rural lands now to keep the squeeze on us

You can get very inexpensive mining claims. I assume you could camp there if you wanted, but I'm not entirely sure what the deal is or how long you have rights to your claim.

Problem is, you usually need to attempt to mine a mining claim or else the government can repossess the land

I love how rightoids go on and on about the sanctity of living in nature but they will sell it all out at the drop of a hat when they discover a company will buy it on the cheap.

The problem you're having is that you're looking for a small lot in the middle of nowhere. That's not a thing. Finding land in the middle of nowhere is easy, but it won't be in small parcels.

Just buy the whole claim anon.
