My cat got spayed today and she's just standing still. It's been 8 hours after the surgery, and she isn't eating or drinking. For a relief she isn't licking her stitches but still, she's just standing still and looking around. Is this normal? I'm not the most familiar with cats, this one is just a cat that hid in my garden, was mistreated before and she's always been very nervous but active as well

probably still wonked out on the anesthesia. the place you took her to should have given you aftercare instructions, among those being limit food to about half what they would normally eat the first night and resume regular feeding tomorrow.
It's a hell of a surgery for a female cat (a lot of times with males they dont even need stitches), so it's a gonna take some time to get back to normal. if she's still fucked up tomorrow morning take her to a vet.
