Coyotes look like little wolves. Say we domesticated them, would we get a different type of “dog” after some time? I just saw a video of Foxes being bred and domesticated and they expect them to gain floppy ears and different fur patterns as they become friendly and behave more like dogs, so can this also be done with coyotes?

AFAIK, coyotes are a bit more mesopredator like, so they'd be more akin to a canid version of a house cat. And foxes are that already.
