Of course, I support treating animals as well as possible before slaughter. The truth is whats goof for me is the moral option because well treated animals are tastier and healtier to eat. Fucked up shit like kosher/halal slaughter are not only cruel to the animal but also degrade the quality of the meat.
Things like animal rescue, preserving nature and green energy are good because they improve the quality of life for humans in the long run. Stepping beyond those bounds is simply self-destrutive idiocy or nihilism(idiocy but sounds fancy).
