I love them. I always scoop them out of bathtub (spiders too) to free them. They don't carry disease. They don't do anything bad, in fact they eat the shit you drop on the floor, being a biological vacuum cleaners. And spiders eat them. And spiders are cool, too.
They are my favorite houshold buggy.

I see firebrats a lot at work, silverfish are pretty rare though. If I was a spider I bet these things would be like tendies.
