Here's a picture of what a Saimaa ringed seal looks like. They are a critically endangered freshwater seal only found in Lake Saimaa of Finland, with estimated numbers between 400-500 seals left.

Ever since I introduced my mother to the seals of Tokkari center two years ago she's been almost as enamoured with seals than me.Because we're both aspies who live alone and have no reason to mask, often without realizing we make seal noises at eachother all the time as an acknowledgement of the others presence.
