it's apparently illegal there but even if you do pull it off, you'll get about 8 years max before that monkey stops seeing you as its family and starts seeing you as its captor, dedicating the rest of its time near you to trying to bite your face off and bail anyway, which means you'll have to either "mercy" kill it or sedate and release it into the wild, ensuring it encounters a violent death.
