actual t-rex sound. this is probably some of the viscerally disturbing shit i've ever heardhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ydu5bMbJO5E
>>5155272>actual
That's pretty cool. If you think he was chicken-like, that's pretty much what he would sound like
>>5155272There's no way to know what sounds T. rex (or any dinosaur not named Parasaurolophus) made. This is completely made up
>>5155287More authentic than Jurassic Park
>>5155299I'd say they are of comparable levels of authenticity since they are both making shit up at the end of the day
>>5155272>The HELL GOOSE
>>5155272Nigga that's some scary shit
>>5155299Not really. Jurassic Park was groundbreaking for the time because it created the sounds of dinosaurs by combining the sounds of other living animals, lending them a very naturalistic and believable vocals, instead of simply giving them Godzilla skronks. That became the blueprint for every single dinosaur depiction since. When you think about the JP T-Rex you only think about the iconic roar, which we now know he couldn't perform, but if you listen to the array of other sounds he produces in the film, they are about as convincing as this. Also it's literally just a guy hissing in his mic so it's not that far off.
>>5155309>comparable levels of authenticitySomewhat but they're both coming from different motivations. One is combining multiple random animal's roars for maximum theatric effect, the other is taking what we know about its descendants and synthesizing their vocalizations.
>>5155309Birb noise
>>5155400My favorite was always the elephant rumble
>>5155287That is partially true. The throat is indeed made of soft tissue, so it cannot be fossilized. However, the ears contain small bones, so scientists do have traces of them. The idea is that a dinosaur's calls were logically designed to be heard optimally by others of its kind; therefore, studying fossilized ears provides interesting clues—though not the full calls themselves, of course.
>>5155415Still, with dinos being so closely related to birds, who can't shut the fuck up, shouldn't their calls also be viewed through that prism?
>>5155411And that other elephant hum when he's slightly agitated.
>>5155415Scientists can barely agree that non-avian dinosaurs even had a larynx, much less what kind of sounds it would produce, and the one (1) that's been described from a non-avian dinosaur is unlike anything existing today.
>>5155400>which we now know he couldn't perform"we" don't know shit
>>5155427They all sounded like massive seagulls, yes even brontosaurus. The asteroid was just god trying to get some sleep.
>>5155299mentally ill fucking kill yourself
>>5155400>which we now know he couldn't perform?????????????????????????????where do you trannies come from
735You've got several threads up paleoschizo. Go to them and leave mine alone
>>5155736>trannies out of nowhereleast obsessed incel
>>5155272I don’t know man the audio really just isn’t doing it for me. If I were standing in a forest and I heard that without seeing the source and could feel it resonate through my bones, that would be an entirely different story. Here there’s too much doubt for me and also I can’t even scare myself while closing my eyes to listen.
>>5155698not everyone is a retard like you
>>5155762pull the horsetail assplug out of your ass and hang yourself you diseased freakimagine the “male children are actually women if you cut their nuts off and put them in a dress” crowd trying to feed you facts about dinosaurs fucking lol
>um dinosaurs aren’t like your movies chud they were silent chickens that ate only fruits and nuts and were GAYLet me post this, okay done. Now all insane trannies (pedophiles) can leave.
>>5155989uh ohincel melty!
>>5155272Actually spoopy
>>5155272This just feel wrong i don't know what to say about that
