Most yeah!! The shape of their face changes qualities of their echolocation like shape and recieved vibration, and so it's possible to identify bat species by sound lol, it's just, not easy!!
That being said, some facial variation is naturally food related, like how birds and flowers evolved longer and longer tongue's/flowers!!
Picrel example, vampire bats have heat sensing organs on their nose that help them find out where blood is under skin!!
Its also why the shape of bat noses are like that even for fruit bats, when hanging upside down the groove between their nostrils helps them not drown when squishin fruit juice!!
