Does Shane still own WCW?
WCW, Inc. was liquidated in 2017 but Turner still has a department responsible for paying out their debts still
>>12959826Yes, and Stephanie still owns ECW
>>12959826No he converted it to AEW and put some weirdo in as a figurehead.
>>12959835Seriously?
>>12960860explains why Bobby Lashley was champ
>>12960860>>12959826they sold their stock to Ric Flair after the '01 SS
>>12959826In story? WCW and ECW are owned by the WWE. The loser(s) of the Alliance vs WWE blow off match would sign ownership over to the winner(s). Obviously, WWE won.
>>12960891This is not as uncommon as you might think anon. Lots of liquidated businesses technically still "exist" on paper because for whatever reason money they owe has not been paid.>>12960908jajaja
>>12959826No. When Shane lost the Survivor Serie match he forfeited all his ownership plus actions to a consortium which was secretely organized by Ric Flair so Flair became the owner of WCW until May 2002 where he also forfeited his share after losing a match against Vince Mcmahon.
>>12959835What debts could they possibly still have after 20 years?
>>12959835>>12961995Which one is telling the truth?
>>12961995Jesus. I quit watching wrestling for years after WCW/ECW died because Vince was more interested in forcing his shitty family down the collective throat of the audience instead of focusing on the wrestling product. I had no idea things got that shitty. Glad I discovered TNA a few years later and AEW is a thing now.
>>12962500>AEW>good
>>12959826Flair lost it to Vince
>>12962579Yes.
>>12959826You should be gassed
>>12959835You have it backwards, The Universal Wrestling Corporation which was the name of the company that handled any remaining issues from WCW closed in 2017. As far as I know WCW inc is still a subsidiary of |WWE even though they don't do anything with it.
