Modern joshi wrestling is idol-esque garbage for idol fans, it's soft and it's barely wrestling, any threads you see of active companies these days are just idols and make money for their promotions by pretending to be an idol

Joshi wrestling at it's peak in the 80s-early00's was about being legitimately best in the world athletes, it wasn't some boomer-coomer fan breeding ground, men and women of all ages would pack into arenas as big as the Tokyo Dome to see all time greats like Lioness Asuka, Chigusa Nagayo and Bull Nakano do things as good as the men
