I have applied to over 100 jobs. Grocery store cashier, fast food server, "stocking associate," I've applied to thrift stores to sort and stock donations, I've applied to gas stations, hell I've even applied to wash dishes. That's the job fuckin' drifters do when they can't get any other kind of work.After 12 months of this, I've only had two interviews. Both interviews were scheduled by a bot and when I showed up for the interview I was informed the job listing was fake and the role was filled weeks ago. Yes, I do apply for data entry and call center jobs, too. Or I try to. I have alerts setup for that kind of stuff and every time I check them they are already filled by the time I get there.
