Not him, but all of you are acting like it is one or the other. I was raised in an age when locker rooms weren't separate for men and boys, so when we were changing before/after swim lessons, there were bunches of naked men walking around just a few feet from us and showering.
I've used piss troughs and showered in rooms which were completely open - and not just in PE showers. Even so, I stopped walking around naked in front of my children when they were 3-4.
And while my children weren't around nudity the way I was, they don't have hang-ups about their bodies. In HS, both my son and daughter ran track and cross country. My son would often run without a shirt on and my daughter would often run just wearing a sports bra and shorts.
Nudity is not always sexual, but don't act like people who aren't comfortable with nudity are horrible people.
If anything, the real problems come from hollywood and porn. Most of the women we see naked in TV/Movies are young and fit and porn guys have washboards and have much bigger dicks than the average man.

Most places I've been to have family rooms or people simply don't get undressed to shower. I camp at one lake sometimes and the shower room is through the sink area / toilets and is separated by a door. The showers are in the middle of the room, sectioned off by stainless steel walls so from above it would look like a pie sliced into 6 pieces. It has curtains for each section and a bench around the entire room so you can set your clothes down on it and not get them wet. I go to the back and pull the curtain because I'm going to shower all the sand and mud off. I've seen men come in, go to the back showers, pull the curtain and just rinse off whatever they can without taking their trunks off. Then they go out to their car and leave. It makes me shake my head thinking not only of who it would feel driving home for an hour or so, but the smell going into the car seats.

My first intro to nudism was hilarious. I was maybe 9 or 10 and my parents took me and my younger sister for what was supposed to be a family walk on the beach. We'd just moved to Vancouver bc and they didn't know the area, we were just exploring all the different beaches one by one, and they accidentally walked us right onto the famous Wreck beach not knowing it's a clothing optional area. We were slow to notice because if you walk in from the north the ratio of textiles to nudists changes slowly, but you come around that last point and BAM like 80 - 90% of the crowd is naked on a hot summer day.

Rather than freak out and get out of there my parents decided to use it as a learning opportunity to show us nudism culture exists. They weren't nudists themselves, but they're far from some kind of Christian Conservatives either. They left it up to me and my sister if we wanted to stay and go for a swim anyway, and of course we said yes. I'd never seen so many naked people of all ages before, even girls around my age and stuff, so for me it was the coolest thing ever. Our parents said we could go swim naked if we want, but of course we were way too shy.

Anyway I couldn't stop thinking about it after that, I wanted to go back but I was way too shy to ask my parents and way too young to go on my own. I didn't go back til I was a horny teen with a bus pass, but I eventually went back a few times on my own and eventually started having fun being naked in front of so many people. I got a lot of attention for being one of the only guys my age actually stripping out there, and it kind of turned me into and exhibitionist.

There’s a train of thought that our modern shame around nudity is due to the shame it held in Ancient, but specifically Roman times, as slaves and the poorest of the poor couldn’t afford any clothes, so just lived naked. Their nudity was a sign of their poverty, so that was the origin of feeling embarrassed around being naked.
