Hello, and Greetings. Question for gifters. Do you gift games not on sale? I only ask because I have seen it in the past. It is indeed greedy of me to request such, especially when I am a random unspecial person making a request.
My situation is a bit complicated, in short: I want Metroid Prime 4 for the Nintendo Switch (Not Switch 2). My theory goes like this. Since I gifted somebody before, not directly through steams gifting process, but by sending a code in their steam chat. I started thinking how that could work for Switch. And this gave me my answer

I dont even mind throwing in $20 to whoever is willing to gift, I dont have a lot of money, but I simply cannot afford the $100 that this game costs in Canada.

I checked the Humble Store and it says the code works for whoever has a US or Canada Switch account. I'm doing more research. I just want to get an idea first if anybody is fine with these parameters.

If all of this is just too much for a gifter that simply doesnt want to deal with the hassle. I understand. I asked this in the last thread, but apparently that wasnt a serious thread, and this is the thread I expect more gifters to come together in. So I thought id try one more time with more clarity. But if all of this is too much to deal with. Then if somebody doesnt mind getting me Epic Mickey Rebrushed, and/or Mio Memories in Orbit (not sure how PrePurchases work for gifting, but I prefer the latter game to the former)

She was ungrateful, saying that since her brother already had it on PS4 that I wasted my money. I never forgot about that, and it still makes me salty to this day. I HATE fromsoftware rollslop. But DS3 was really good. I would say the 1st one was probably the best though.
The only thing good about DS2 was the story and OST. The combat was okay but the loot system was fucking dogshit. and the climbing really slows down the pace and gets repetitive.
I cant speak on Genesis because I was originally gonna play it coop with my cousin but the Steam play together feature bugged out and we gave up.

I actually agree with him that DS2 is the worst one. From a design standpoint, the game is horrible structured, and a significant portion of what you do, before you actually get to the big main dungeons (which mostly still suck anyway, which is what makes the game so meh) is such a shallow waste of time. Combat is also genuinely horribly designed on its hardest difficulty, like the game designers had absolutely zero idea how to design a good conbat game. Enemies that dont stagger, enemies that will literally fly to you, with their entire body becoming a hurtbox, mob spam, obnoxious aoe...all of this in a game that lets you dash twice before you can dash again? Just retarded design decisions all around. Game is just lauded in the series because its the biggest one with most the content (normietards love this, its why open world slop like asscreed odyseey that exist just to waist your time, was so successful and popular) and has the best music, and admittedly some cool gimmick powers.

Silly question, I had a University exam December 16th at 7 pm, where I talked with a girl named Emily after the exam since we both finished 10 minutes early (Exam ended at 9pm) about which prompt/question we chose for the essay part 2 of the exam. And I told her I bullshitted the sources part of the essay, because i didnt remember any of the specific sources since I studied literally hours before the test since the test was so late and I procrastinate like a mfer, she asked me how I felt I did. I told her I probably failed, then asked her if she came prepared and how she thought she did, and she said she studied a week before and chose prompt 1 (I chose prompt 2) so we couldn't really relate over hour questions, we talked a bit about multiple choice questions we got stuck on, then my mom called and we parted ways because I forgot to tell my mom I'd be taking an exam so she didnt know I was home.
Fuck you btw, I told you more than I should have. If you've been to university, you'd know everybody is awkward as fuck and keeps to themselves, so it was a genuine surprise when she asked me about the exam.

Because I dont want to waste the effort explaining all the reasons why I am the way that I am, and why I am justified in being the way that I am, after it took you this long to just be chill and try to understand me in the first place. You came at me with an immediately dismissive attitude, baked with a whole host of assumptions about who or what I am. And I hate when people do that, because I care, and want to deconstruct those faulty assumptions, and when I have to waste my time doing that, putting that effort, typing as many genuine and honest words as I do, to get somebody to understand me, knowing that they will likely not change, knowing that will likely remain obstinate, ignorant, dismissive. It frustrates me and sours me even more on socializing than I already am.

I have told you this from the beginning and I will tell you this again. You, and most people prove my point. You think and will say "but its because of the way you act". THAT IS THE POINT. You have decided that the way that I act justifies a certain response ans behaviour. You focus on the appearance and surface level of my communication, and how I do it, over what I am actually saying and trying to get you to understand. I have BEEN the "nice guy" the "cordial friendly social guy". Not just for the sake of it. But also because I am not inclined towards being mean or aggressive. And you can even see that in how I have talked to others in here that are not you, others who I think are being genuine and understanding with me. Like the people I've gifted, like the guy who asked about my wishlisted games, like the guy who engaged with me about my distaste for rougelites.

You do not have to change your core values, but the unwillingness to be cohesive with others different from yourself WILL be your downfall, not only socially but professionally.

You are in college and that is good, but I can tell you right now that will get you no more than entry or middle level in any professional sphere unless you change your attitude about those around you. You are unwilling to look outside yourself based on rules that have been set on yourself either by you or another. Failure to be flexible with those will result in you failing your ambitions. People around you are different. You do not always need to agree, you do not always need to be right, but unable to bring someone to your side is going to be a massive detriment.
