someone ask why op deems the thread important. someone try to get him to even justify with one not of evidence that is generally considered important beyond his "evidence" that "it's important because i said so". it's not an important thread. that doesn't have op can't have a thread, but he shouldn't lie to bait people into looking into a thread that is not actually important.

anyone think it's possible to use the bulletproofs inner product argument but with a collision resistant hash function as the commitment scheme for binding only arguments of knowledge? e.g. replace pederson commitments with a random lattice base where the input is multiplied by it into a Z_q^n module with q prime. The folding mechanism forms a homomorphism for algebraic operations after folding

if collision resistance isn't sufficient the construction can be lifted into an instance of the short integer solution problem to get second pre-image resistance and other good stuff
>>
>>944205850
You are liar! You only make these threads to steal Pepe’s
>>
>>944207550
my thinking is, provided a 32 bit field each fold gives 32 bits of security, so as long as there are > 8 folds it's safe. But i'd still run plenty of soundness amplification on the same oracle transcript

in practice it's pretty quick without the exponentiation overhead
>>
>>944207550
i'm still unclear on the verification complexity. Communication complexity is definitely logn, i think verification is sublinear without the hiding mechanism?? doesn't matter either way because i can use it as an IVC...
>>
>>944207607
It's twofold

I do like liberating pepes but also the dollar general girl is thick and tasty looking
>>
>>944207825
Post pic of her and I will give you rare Pepe’s
>>
>>944207550
i really don't want to lift into sis though, i'd much rather use collision resistance and run a bunch of soundness amp. Just need better analysis of the construction to determine safety and how to parameterize. Need to find some math nerds
>>
>>944207550
on collision resistance, each fold selects a random challenge element which is multiplied by a convolution of the input vector. The lattice base itself is folded with the challenge elements as well, so you'd need structured second pre-images for each fold, which should be difficult to do
>>
>>944208242
ugh the more i think about it the more i think it's not secure. I should lift into SIS the concrete cost should be close to 0 fml
>>
>>944208242
ok actually no i think it's kinda safe. There is a first multiplication of the challenge element by the accumulated input vector. Then a second multiplication of the challenged vector by the current lattice base, which is variable based on previous challenges. So finding a second pre-image for the current lattice base would require accumulated second pre-images for the previous folds ??????

idk i need someone smarter than me to think about this pls
>>
>>944208498
Try using separate challenge elements for the input vector and the lattice matrix. This may break your final homomorphism though.

I could say it's for a project.

I jacked off to her before. It would be nice to look at a picture while I jacked off.

But i would say it's for a project.
