A while back there was a nerd shop that hosted events for it, but to be honest they were really annoying people and it kind of put me off the whole thing. Dont know if it was just them or the whole community.
>>944267279So me and one of my best friends have been playing since the 90's so when we met we bonded pretty quick over it, over the years we've recruited most of our close friends circle into playing so now we've got about 7/8 close friends playing various armies and its great. Most of us are married, have kids etc and honestly, if it wasnt for these guys I would have given up years ago because of the community is fucking awful! Almost every negative stereotype about the warhammer community you WILL see, sooner rather than later. Our group almost never venture into GW stores or interact outside of our group.
