>>944727564The story is optional, there is one, in fact there are several branches. But most of my saves are just running around the starting area, engaging in firefights and scrounging ammo. If you don't care for atmosphere, you can always murder your way to the end of the game, so long as you have the rubles to afford the ammo it takes. That's why I love it, you can play it anyway you want, you might be punished by some jank in the code from time to time but that's just life in the zone.
