I recently saw one that made a 90 degree turn in real time while I was driving. is it normal for them so high up to do that? i've never seen it before
Shit, they're onto us.
weather manipulation would be great.too bad we haven't made it work yet.climate control is going to work one day.
no one still can answer my question or acknowledge it? the 90 degree turn I saw? It left he same white trails. Except they were being made while I watched from my car windshield. Is it a thing or not ffs.
>>944792717dumb ass AI
>>944794205It is absolutely suspect. People that claim otherwise have their heads in the sand.
>>944787938I dunno, but it makes sense. I think operations have to account for wind directions at that altitude.
>>944787938>I recently saw one that made a 90 degree turn in real time while I was driving. is it normal for them so high up to do that? i've never seen it beforeHolding patterns can be a box or rectangle pattern, like the example on the bottom at 25,000 feet. It's completely normal around airports that have queues for landing. If the airport isn't very busy and doesn't have queues, then it would be unusual at that airport.
>>944794205I'm a pilot. It's possible you saw a fighter plane or tight maneuvering capable jet at high altitude make a severe course change.. Something like a B-1. An F-18 could easily do that as well at those altitudes. Was it a single trail or a twin trail very close together? An F-18 trail make look single, and F-16 would be just one trail. A B-1b would barely show as two, but it's actually 4. You describe the trail as 90°.. Are you saying a sharp 90° or a noticable curve to 90°? Even a passenger plane could do a fairly tight curve without "spilling the drinks".. A cargo flight even more so. I'll need to get a better description to get a better idea of what you saw.. But yes, a dramatic flight correction is uncommon, but not unusual either. Especially with military flights.
>>944794205I'm a penguin. Ice cubes are totally overrated and its fucking cold all the time where I live. My girlfriend is typically a frigid bitch but hey thats pretty much normal. I like long walks on the beach, Renaissance poetry and standing around with my buddies talking about fish, the consistency of fish, sea lion encounters and of course the perennial favorite, driftwood. I fucking hate SeaWorld and everything about it, those sons of bitches. Especially Lucy, the biker chick that works the ticket booth. Fucking cunt.
>>944797743>Are you saying a sharp 90° or a noticable curve to 90°?I'm not OP, but a sharp 90° would violate the laws of physics, so there had to be some radius to the turn. The radius size can vary.
>>944797926If he's on the ground and he saw something to a hard turn in something highly maneuverable at 30,000' ASL, it would appear to do a sharp 90 especially if starting the turn at a low cruising speed. Hard turn meaning it rolled to 90° then the pilot pulled back on the stick hard.
