Am I the aashole?My friend is dating a guy. Met him a few times. I work at a chemist, and saw him one day and saw he was buying prescription prostate medication. That's very young for a 30yo, so told my friend what her bf was on. My friend said I had no right to tell others what customers were buying. The pharmacists at the chemist are bound to confidentiality, but us checkout operators aren't. I don't see how I'm the aashole for giving useful information to my friend about the guy she's dating.

Not an asshole but I think you should have kept your mouth shut. I fail to see why your friend needs to know. Its not as if the guy has aids.
