You can go to a sauna/spa without being either. If you go to a nude campsite to be around other nude people, you're probably more of a nudist. If you enjoy being naked in the privacy of your own home or in your own backyard, that's still more of a nudist. You're being naked for comfort or to relax. I'd say exhibitionism is more being naked because it's exciting. Streaking is exhibitionism, but it isn't nudism.

More and more, I'm discovering that I like being nude somewhere where it's allowed and where it can be relaxing. When everyone is nude, like on a beach, it's much less "exciting".
