Are you talking about the internet? If so some people / bots here are hostile for little to no reason. Others can be hostile because you decided to start an argument with random people that want nothing to do with your stupid and or rude comment.For the former when people see someone talking about suicide they don't know if you are a random sad person or the asshole that needs to learn to keep their mouth shut or figure out how to interact with others in a decent way. Since they don't know they treat you as a random sad person.If you are talking about real life its probably because people want to act however they wish. That does not mean they want you dead. Even if they did want you dead they might have ambivalent feelings about it since everyone has been taught that causing the death of a person is morally wrong outside of defensive actions.

A question I have is, why the fuck do people try so hard to stop other from ending it? Put aside the obvious (family, friends etc, that love you) why do people freak out and try to prevent it? It's almost like the world is 90% bots and they are trying to stop you from quitting the game. It's crazy.

Some people are jerks by default, some are reacting to stress in predictable ways, others are just people going about their life normally and unintentionally stepping on toes in the process. Some reject this or that but not to the point of wanting someone to suffer to the point of killing themself. Life is rough for lots of people for lots of reasons. To the point where plenty are more worried about their own comfort than they are others.Then there are additional things like mentally ill / hyper sensitive people and unreasonable situations. Its all pretty predictable I think. I guess its easier if you try to imagine yourself living the life of another person through their perspective.
