What are you supposed to do when you went to the hospital for doing smoke shop drugs, and the care team wrote erroneous information on your chart?

They wrote that I took stuff that I never actually took, and they didn't even do lab testing to verify anything for what they supposed I had taken. They couldn't even read the label apparently and literally made shit up, and one of the packages that was shown to them was old, and I hadn't even taken anything from the latter. I'm too retarded to know how to go about getting any of this expunged or otherwise changed. What happens when someone's incompetence is jeopardizing to your career, now that you're trying to get your life together?

talk to the doctor
"I would like to talk to the doctor about my chart."
if the nurses get squirrely, insist.
>>
>>944873365
or perhaps don't mention the chart in front of nurses. just say you have questions for the doctor. that is, if these types don't come around regularly and you have to "summon" them. if they do, just ask when they're there.

>smoke shop drugs
so, mystery drugs.
and who says they DIDN'T test you?
>>
>>944873381
they don't have tests for randos on mysterious smoke shop drugs

This was months ago, and I recently realized how much of a problem what it says is.
>>

what, did they have chatGPT write the report? you're lucky they didn't incinerate you because they thought you had the Aftosa

This is one of those times that not being a billionaire means you have no rights.

You realize most doctors in America use Copilot AI to write their Mychart shit, right? 95% of the time they do not look at any of that shit once. The only time they do is either in front of you or in court. A lot of them have an audio recorder for the appointment and have an AI transcription program transcribe it. All the chart is at this point is the legal ritual they have to do, basically they just tell the robot to write papers so they don't get sued. Only matters to lawyerfags
>>
>>944873381
My chart says they didn't, they tested for shit they didn't think I took, and just assumed what I did actually take.

Apparently they can't fucking read, because they said I took "2,000mg" of THC, which is fucking impossible because even if I approach 300mg of edibles I'm already feeling sick and greening out by that point. I would never willingly take that much, and nowhere on the label does it say "2,000" anything, so I literally have no clue where they got that from. And I've taken that shit many times before, it contains no THC at all. They couldn't just do the simplest thing, and test for what they were told was in my system to confirm anything, they just fucking went with it and wrote it on my chart.

Nevermind the possibility that I got nauseous from undercooked fish, and I was in no condition to talk, and I didn't want to go to the hospital anyway but didn't want to argue, even though what I took definitely wasn't fatal. And of course, my incompetent mother who can't cook right couldn't shut the fuck up while I was there, and later claimed that I did not tell her twice already that "that fish made me sick". It doesn't even matter what actually caused my nausea at this point, this is what it's like when you're stuck with a bunch of idiots who don't want to listen to you.

I should've never fucking answered if I took anything, because that's all they believed.
>>
>>944873437
They have tests for what they thought I took!
>>
>>944873678
>what, did they have chatGPT write the report?
How should I know?
>>
>>944873834
chatgpt is able to tell it's own writing from people pretty good.

Had this happen once when I was in a slip and fall accident. Someone apparently put it down as a motor vehicle accident. I had multiple calls for days asking me about "the accident that I was in involving a motor vehicle." It stopped eventually.
>>
>>944873762
Apparently.

>You realize most doctors in America use Copilot AI to write their Mychart shit, right?
I've never heard of that, but I guess that's a terrible revelation to have.

>95% of the time they do not look at any of that shit once. The only time they do is either in front of you or in court. A lot of them have an audio recorder for the appointment and have an AI transcription program transcribe it.
If they can't even speak right, that's another problem. I've seen an assistant tell the doctor that I have no name, and he didnt even seem to know what the fuck she meant. I didn't know why she would say that, but I guess that's a fancy way of saying I didn't have an ID with me. She could've just said that instead, I literally gave them my name already, and that just sounds stupid to say.

>All the chart is at this point is the legal ritual they have to do, basically they just tell the robot to write papers so they don't get sued. Only matters to lawyerfags
Are they TRYING to get sued!?
>>
>>944873909
So are you saying if I wanted to ruin someone's life, I could just forge medical documents and then anyone will believe it?
>>
>>944873855
I guess they don't expect people to check it, but it doesn't help that some AI checkers say that the Declaration of Independence is AI written too.
>>
>>944873928
>Are they TRYING to get sued?
No, they use AI to do as little work as possible for each case. Also, personally I'm of the opinion that they want to ruin medical charts so that they can do the following; US doctors want to monopolize the medical opinion on their patient as long as possible, make online charts completely useless and inadmissable in court, and make the punishment for using the online medical chart service as great as possible for patients so that they're no longer legally obligated to respond or obligated to add addendae to already existing records.

By the way, I don't know how to tell you this, but doctors don't like actually communicate about their cases. Very, very rarely do they ever do this. The term "care team" is bullshit, it's more of a list of people giving you healthcare. All other doctors are looking for are key words associated with your demeanor and specific condition. Stuff like "left AMA", "difficult", "BPD", "flat affect", "drug seeking", etc. Outside of that, they could not give less of a fuck about you or about the opinion of other doctors.

Also, doctors are trained to treat everything that a patient says or presents them in clinic as subjective and what they believe and test for as objective. So them not testing you actually probably works in your favor, you can just say you have no recollection of what occurred or what the record states is inconclusive since no tests were performed and you'll be fine.

>This was months ago, and I recently realized how much of a problem what it says is.
it's a problem? then find a lawyer, sue them for lying.
>>
>>944873809
>my incompetent mother
so maybe SHE lied about all of this and they just wrote it down?
have you thought about that? that your mother is not incompetent but evil?
>>
>>944873928
I forgot to mention one thing. Qualified immunity. So, if a doctor is by technicality a federal government employee, and in the case of doctors it would probably be down to how much the government pays thembor their hospital/practice, they would be able to argue qualified immunity to basically be immune to malpractice/neglect prosecution. I know in my city in the US, a private hospital just agreed to be funded mostly by the government instead specifically for this reason.

If you're gonna sue or something, ask your lawyer if the doctor or nurse you're suing has qualified immunity. If they do, at that point don't even bother or sue the hospital if you've got the cash.

Those doctors are using their best professional judgement to understand whatever you did to yourself. Why the fuck would they listen to the ramblings of a worthless drug addict?

They made it sound like I was trying to commit suicide with an absurd amount of weed and a miniscule amount of kratom, are you sure?...

they don't have tests for research chemicals this isn't CSI they don't have a machine that scans blood and prints out the results on a TV in a few seconds with the molecular structure of the unknown substances mixed in with everything else

they test for cocaine, weed, meth and opiates because they are common
you can pay for tests for stuff like pcp or ketamine but they do this by detected either a known drug or the known metabolites of known drugs
there's no magic box that tells you that PurpaKush from the PiggyWiggly is research chemical QAZ-221 cooked up in Chinese labs

Yes, of course that's what they would think.

Not him obviously, but I didn't even take anything with research chemicals in it. Pretty much just something that had amanita muscaria in it. But they *thought* I took weed and kratom, and they didn't even test for either to conform that suspicion.

>lawyers want to get paid
probably. send an email if they have it, and load it with all the details. I repeat: all the details, not just those you know off the top of your head. names, dates and times, places. attach all that shit so it doesn't overload the email itself.
that way, you don't have to waste their time/calendar space for actually talking. that way, they can quickly scan the situation.

>>944876776
yes, maybe you shouldn't. or (learn to) cook more of your own meals. if you can trust her to teach you cooking, then you've got that skill. you'll need it when you eventually live on your own, and now it's easier to ask her to teach you.
>>
>>944877198
>all the details
prepare one PDF file that contains it all.
make sure it's structured.
have it contain a timeline, easy to skim.
have it contain a section containing all the lab reports and other documents you have. scans of these, don't go like "I have this and that document". the contents matter.
don't narrate lab reports and such. attach those. narrate when things need narrating.
>>
>>944877198

I already know how to cook, it's not my fault she just made dinner.

I'll keep all that in mind.

>>

Just contact the hospital's medical records department and tell them there's an error on your record that you'd like to correct. This is part of HIPAA and you have the legal right to request an amendment to your EHR.
>>
>>944879175
>I understand you wanted me to get closer to her
I definitely did not mean that.
I'm saying take what (life lessons) you can and RUN.
>>
>>944879669
>the hospital's medical records department
I literally can't even do that, because there is no department anymore. They made it a pain in the ass to get my own records, and I didn't even end up doing it myself.

Medical records are protected and confidential information. You have nothing to worry about, friend.
