There are many ways to fight back some peaceful some not:
-politician, You could get involved in local politics by campaigning for a politician you support or run for an office yourself
-Vote, voting is the greatest power to fight back against something in the government you don’t like
-peacefully protest, go to rallies for ideals you believe in
-riot, fight against the machine
-assassinations, the least good option as it’s really a bad way to go about change but it can get results either good or bad.
