SPROTT BALLS DEEP NFG

>Keith Boyle, CEO of New Found Gold, commented, "On behalf of the Company, I would like to thank Mr. Sprott for his continued support as New Found Gold's largest shareholder. His participation in both the Private Placement and our bought deal financing that closed in June, 20251 reflects his confidence in the Project, the new leadership team and our strategy going forward. The proceeds from the Private Placement support the advancement of Queensway's key milestones and further position us on the path to production."

https://www.enverus.com/blog/exploring-the-future-of-canadian-oil-sands-and-montney-plays/
Great article from Enervus talking about Canadian o&g. Key points are:
>AECO bearish (duh)
>65% of the growth until 2030 to come from the oil sands, most of the rest will come from the Montney
>oil sands egress should keep rising with pipeline expansions which should support WCS and condensate pricing
>Canadian unconventional producers trade at comparable FCF multiples to US peers but have 2-3 times the reserve duration
>investors should focus on companies positioned in the best liquids-rich areas and select midstream names

basically just buy the best non-pure gas names and chill. Arc, Whitecap, CNRL, etc.
>>
>>23184935
CNRL’s been such a dud this year. Though the Canadian names have held up good despite the price environment. The weak dollar is coming in clutch I suppose.

not the best year to be long oil and gas for sure. Oil prices have been falling, gas is in the gutter where it belongs. The good thing is that the high quality guys keep posting great results and keeping up with the shareholder returns. I wouldn't consider it a bad thing if some of these stock prices deflated. I coom at the thought of buying CNQ or SU shares at a big discount
>>
>>23185317
Did well with Strathcona this year. I have no idea what they’re gonna do now after their MEG shenanigans.
>>
>>23185328
I think they'll bid higher. No idea who ends up getting MEG in the end but I think both Cenovus and Strathcona want the company badly enough to want to wrestle over it. Both have capacity to increase their bids, both have a lot to gain from having those Christina Lake acres.

Of course I talk my own book as a MEG shareholder though.
>>
>>23185356
Just need them to take something out to get the NSYE listing. Maybe they annex greenfire to do that.
>>
>>23185411
I don't think a NYSE listing is an immediate necessity for Strathcona. They'll get Greenfire whenever they want, they can starve out retail there and swoop in at their leisure. I think whether Strathcona gets MEG will mark a very important shift in the company. If they do get MEG, they will probably end up consolidating many of the smaller guys in the oil sands and heavy oil areas (Greenfire, Athabasca, maybe Cardinal, Headwater, Paramount's heavy oil acres, IPCO, etc.)

Then again if Cenovus gets MEG maybe Adam Waterous will go on with the strategy anyways and take out the second best, Athabasca.
>>
>>23185447
I guess we’ll know his master plan when we know.
>>
>>23185484
His master plan is rounding up the smaller oil sands names. That's known. Just don't know what the next step will be if he doesn't get MEG. Presumably he would go after another company instead. Athabasca likely. Just imo

Gold already became the safe haven of choice the moment the USA weaponized the Dollar by freezing Russian USD reserves. After that moment sovereign gold purchases ramped up and not long afterwards gold surpassed Euros in global reserve assets. Trump has his own fingers in the soup too of course though

there will probably be substitution for WTI with NGLs mixed with heavy oil. Canadian oil sands ramping up should help with that. US oil production still hasn't started truly declining but whenever it does, the refiners can just switch gears.

>Hello I'm new here looking for miners.

>>
spent the day up a little creek looking for a long forgotten / deleted minfile location. You never know what you might find when your ground truthing these spots.
>>
Minfile once described a quartz stringer / stockwork located in the creek bed of this little draw. The file says galena and tetrahedrite are hosted in these veins, up to 210 grams per tonne silver and 5% copper. For unknown reasons the file was deleted and has been forgotten about for many many years. Looking at the float and the quartz vein chunks sitting in the creek, there is something worth looking for up there!
>>
best piece of float was this absolutely stunning piece of quartz with argentiferous galena and minor copper staining, i was no expecting to see material like this from the description.

>untested brecchia
>local intercepts at 10+ g/t
>easy access: I-80 visible from claims, graded gravel road to parcel is accessible year-round in 2WD vehicle
>abandoned since Allied Nevada bankruptcy
>near Goldstrike, Carlin, Lone Tree
>3-year option
>$50K at signing, $100k on first and second anniversaries, $250k on final payment
>2% NSR (1% buy-back option for $500K)

I have 90 days to pay BLM once I file with the county recorder on Tuesday. I will be working to punt this as soon as possible.

usually its down to incorrect info given to the government (gps locations off, description is incorrect etc) but this one looks totally accurate, very odd that it was removed. No one knows about it, no ones visited it in decades from what i can tell. There are placer cells over the area but i dont know if its hard rock staked.
>>
>>23217278
i sliced a piece of the float with my diamond saw to have a look at the texture, this vein looks very similar to other structures found about 4km to the west, maybe an extension?
