I don't think silver had a similar chart in 2008...
But lots of the miners and ETFs also have this pattern.

>>
>>23252196
Damn that’s a lot of touches at that resistance, you’d think this HAS to be the one that makes it..

1980 was Hunt manipulation, 2011/12 was Global (not) financial crisis fallout, and now we have fundamental yet unresolved macro issues from 2008 that are turning up, along with a decent amount of industrial demand. You’d think that’s plenty of tailwind to knock down that resistance zone up at $40-50

Banyan is on my watchlist but I also never ended up buying. It was never a priority for me. They have a lot of ounces but the project is pretty low grade and lacks a proper high grade starter pit. Kind of surprised about the runup in that stock recently, but I suppose that's the market's way of expressing FOMO since other lower quality laggards like Bunker Hill and Lion One have also been gigapumping as of late

Does anyone have suggestions or designs for very small milling of gold and silver ore? Like only a few kilograms at a time. It has gotten hard to find resources for amateur things on the internet the past few year. I live in a mining region so samples are around

Got a new personal record in running today. Managed to run 34km in under four hours. Not super proud of the pace but happy nonetheless that I achieved something I have never achieved before. My legs started to turn to lead at the halfway point already and I basically limped the final few kilometers. Tonight I'm also supposed to go to a rave, let's see how those legs hold up.

Marathon in a month. Pray for me frens.

>Good morning, how to buy potassium cyanide? It's for gold leaching, I swear!
Is it even legal to buy it in C of th Anada?
>>
>>23254216
I do have samples with vg from around the area; a lot of the smaller former producers have been overgrown by the Bush, and you can access the tail piles on surface. I am not looking to "make it" this way, but if I get an ounce or two it might be a good few afternoons with the kids poking about. Mill it fine enough then gravity separate it?
>>
>>23254832
I'm afraid that unless your pieces are majority gold (in this case milling rock may have some sense but recovering rates won't be too impressive) chemistry you would need to extract gold from it is too toxic to do it for fun on the evening with kids unless these kids are big enough to not come to conclusion that potassium cyanide makes a great drink.
>>
>>23254895
significant amount of gold, not "majority gold"
>>
>>23254832

You could try panning a creek aroud those parts. No processing needed, all manual gravity separation. Not sure if you need to have a claim first though.

not a bad idea. I was worried about eating before the run in the morning so I just drank water and electrolytes. I did have a gel pack at the halfway point of the run, that helped a bit. Mostly my legs are just not conditioned enough, carbs can't fix that

it was prepped years ago and it still a shit stock. If only they hired Graeme as CEO, then he could focus on 24 production for the off take agreement with Ocean and process the ore at his state of the art facility in Payette Idaho that runs 24/day. Never mind all the tumbleweeds though
>>
>>23258315
So if it were me, I’d carb load a good 1-2 days before such an event. Limit fats and protein and figure out how many g of carbs per kg of body mass it will take to optimally fuel your muscle glycogen beforehand. Get a good rest, wake up 2 hours prior to the run, get a good oatmeal with some berries and honey, maybe a Greek yogurt to feel full.

Then yea on the run I assume you take a bladder (camel bak) and not just a bottle? So you can store some gels or Haribos in there, even dried figs or dates for “real food”. Maybe something salty if the electrolyte additives aren’t enough.

If you fueled properly pre run and during, you shouldn’t feel that hungry afterwards.
As for the legs, that’s lactic acid buildup most likely. You may have been going over your threshold HR (80% of max) for too long and not known it (got a HR monitor?) and you weren’t producing enough ADP energy to sustain the effort.

I take Beta Alanine, Creatine and other things to help stave this off. I’ll even take caffine pills mid ride (cycling) if I’m doing sustained tempo efforts for over many hours.

Granted, I’m not a runner but I’m sure a lot of the training and prep is similar to cycling.

Thank you for the tips leafbro. I did try to eat and drink more on the days prior, woke up about two hours before the run and actually didn't feel very hungry before or during the run so I feel like I was pretty well prepped. I ran at a 400m field so just left the bottles to the side, didn't need to carry anything. For the marathon there will be checkpoints that provide electrolyte, energy drink, water and gel so I won't need to carry stuff which is good

>You may have been going over your threshold HR
my heart rate never got that high actually, legs just aren't conditioned enough since my previous record was 27km and that was before my Summer holiday during which I did jack. Never felt out of breath and pulse never felt that high.

Its got some weight to it, at least 5 lbs?
It probably is weighted with lead in the base but to find out that would involve removing the goodwill pricetag from the base which i like leaving onto things i buy for humor (unless its a kitchen item that gets wet then i have to remove it)

-Tether sold some Bitcoin to buy gold recently.
-LBMA shortages continue.
-World banks have been accumulating.
-The treasury wants to “monetize the asset side of the balance sheet”. Student debt is a large chunk, the other is gold.
-Technicals indicate a breakdown on a multi decade cup and handle as well.
-Silver and gold miners continue to be only a small fraction of the total value of overvalued and over leveraged tech stocks. Even if a small chunk of that shifts into miners. The sector will surge. Retail hasn’t even shifted yet.
-The caviat to this is that even if they print to save things, this will just cause more inflation, and more distrust in the dollar.
-India is dumping treasuries to buy gold.
[we will likely see a price correction below 3K before any serious upside from a revaluation or money printing]
-Lastly, gold has outperformed the S&P for the last 20 years.

NFG is finally starting to advance with the new team. They've taken out Lab, Maritime and today Exploits. They probably have 5Moz+ starting at surface and will have cashflow soon too, Sprott hasn't stopped buying

they are literally not going to have cashflow in years. Nothing wrong with being bullish but at least be realistic and don't get euphoric

Would we reach 3700 this week?
>>
3700-1400=2300
This is more or less a margin of one of my gold miners in portfolio
>>
>>23267418
would could should

a lot depends on when the short side capitulates. When that happens there will be a local top into another round of consolidation.

you get rekt back then?
>>
>>23267466
sorry missed that post. No I started in 2020. But I have heard stories about the mini bull in gold and silver miners. Caught basically everybody off guard. And then the rug was pulled. Kind of similar to what happened in 2020-2021 actually. Funny how history repeats sometimes. It seems that there are bullruns even during bear cycles

Looks like SCR is hellbent on acquiring MEG. I suppose Christina Lake is quite the prize considering SCR's assets kind of suck. Now does Cenovus cough up more dough?
>>
>>23267581
Yes, Cenovus will most likely raise their bid in response. Both companies are well capitalized for to armwrestle with this acquisition.
>I suppose Christina Lake is quite the prize
Yes. Yes it very much is. If SCR gets MEG they will level up their frankly mediocre heavy oil asset base. The companies are valued similarly even though the asset quality is night and day. If Cenovus gets MEG they'll be able to realize like half a billion dollars worth of synergies and finally consolidate Christina Lake like how God always intended.

Whichever ends up winning, I will likely move my MEG capital into the pro forma entity. I have things I like and dislike about both of the merger candidates so I'm most swayed by the suitor who pays me more for my shares. SCR's bid is inflated by their illiquid stock and CVE's cash portion gets taxed. Whatever. Big numbers good, fight for my shares please.

look up the site 911 mining, they have a bunch of diagrams and info for small scale mill setups. However, unless you have a lot of similar grade material its not worth your time.

its great news but remember how loads of these other projects have gone. Scotties bulk sample numbers are what i am waiting on, but great drill results are good to see to!
On a side note but did Goliath go ahead with that adit plan?

Im starting to get minor fomo. Roughly 41% of my IRA is in PSLV and that position is up 49%.
But should I spread some more of that into more minors or should I wait and see?

How does it feel for you guys knowing women like picrel >>23251967 can make tens of thousands of dollars with minimal effort by just opening findom accounts on twitter and uploading their feet pictures meanwhile you keep autistically "investing" your money with minimal gains over years. At this point the money you made with the time you spent "investing" is probably less than 1/10th of what you would make if you were actually working.

Anyway im off to thailand to have sex with hot teenage girls. A deserved 2 week holiday i simply had to work hard for like a few weeks to afford, but would take you guys years of "investing" to save up the same amount lol. Adios
