what are your guys' preferred or recommended handguns? also firearms you just admire but wouldn't actually use seriously. about to pick up a brand new inox biretto 92fs today, also bought a glock 19 im still waiting to pick up. i've heard something about springfield being run by anti 2a cucks but i dont know the specifics, i've also been avoiding SIG because of that cohen kike. if you choose to post your own firearms here, do yourself a favor and remember to obscure identifying information. i know one guy here has a really sick m93 raffica, those are so rare i bet just posting pics of it is enough to doxx him to some degree.

this is about half of my firearms as its an outdated photo at this point.
Beretta and Glock are both GOAT'd.
for an EDC gun i'd get a Sig P365, it's the only handgun Sig hasn't fucked up and is rightfully worth the price.
If you want something for home defense an M9(a1, a3, a4) or Glock 17/20/21/22 are all fantastic options.

i've mostly been training with my 10mm glock 29 lately, but i cant hit shit at 25 yards. the stock sights do not seem to be adjusted for point of aim = point of impact and it pisses me off. might need to do some testing with a pair of night sights like I have on my glock 26.

no, not even close. I got autistically into firearms at age 3, used to build rifles out of my Duplo blocks. Never lost interest. Pretty much the only hobby I've never let go in my entire life and I'm in my mid 30's now.
I'm married and my wife likes guns too so it's never been an issue to keep buying them.
>>23388123
Glock 29s are nice subcompact 10mms are always going to be fucky to shoot. Try putting a ghost trigger in it, should only cost like $50 and it will make the stock trigger feel much better. Upgraded sights also help a lot too.
>>23388127
Any AR in 2025 is going to decent enough to rely on.
You would be fine with a PSA rifle as your first AR despite many people seething over that fact.
Daniel Defense is very good though, but pretty much every AR between $600 and $2,000 you're paying at least some sort of premium for the roll mark.
If I were you I'd buy a basic AR from whatever brand, learn how to use it and learn what you do or don't like, and then buy a lower and upper receiver and assemble a gun that addresses they issues you don't like and build it the way you want.

I've shot both the OG 80 series several examples and a PPKs an immaculate one from the 80s. The 80 series is a better handling gun in the same caliber, perhaps due to size but the footprint in hand between an 85 and the PPKs, enlarged sporting version, is not such a great leap. I think the recoil spring and hammer spring in the beretta better delays felt recoil in addition to the location of material relative to the bore axis in what are guns of comparable weight. PPs and derivatives are 1930s cool but feels every part of it. I am reminded of a marginally better radom P64 when shooting a ppk in .380.

you really are overestimating the power of handgun rounds at stopping targets. They have something like 12% lethality on the first hit. Sorry dude, 45 AARP and 7 rorunds on tap isnt getting it done.
I've taken enough classes to see people fuck up reloads to know that the average shooter will botch it under stress. Minor reason why I switched to the SW 5.7 for 23 rounds of 5.7x28.

Cz 75 series weak point is the trigger return spring. It uses a tortion spring for the return, which is very prone to breakages. Had about 6 beeaks on a p01.

It's a good gun with that one flaw. The beretta 92/96 series also uses a tortion spring, but it isn't as tentioned or over flexed, so I prefer them as well as for the locking block/linear barrel movement.

>>23388228
You don't always need to kill your target, even a good spicy bicep can deter most wrongdoers. But I guess that's fair. Though you should be carrying jacketed hollowpoints.
>Sorry dude, 45 AARP and 7 rorunds on tap isnt getting it done.
And what is? Change my mind, maybe I'll convert.

>I've taken enough classes to see people fuck up reloads to know that the average shooter will botch it under stress. Minor reason why I switched to the SW 5.7 for 23 rounds of 5.7x28.
Isn't the 5.7x28 a fucking specialty round? No thanks. Just because you're autistic doesn't mean you're right.
>>
>>23388239
5.7 is fine for self defense and it’s not expensive anymore. It’s about the price of 45acp
>>
>>23388232
Thanks, anon. The t3x bolt action in 308 is just under $1k, which i think is a reasonable price. My friend gave me a redfield scope back from the handful of years they made great glass. I appreciate your review.
>>
Sig makes the best pistol on the market in general for the price. The drop fire shit is fake since the trigger replacement 7 years ago. The U.S. Air Force even started using the M18/P320 again because it was found it was an intentional murder not a gun malfunction. Check it out. If you want a cheap ass, but very functional and reliable gun, check out Canik.

I have medium sized hands, so it fits me well. And although 9mm is definitely faggy, it’s my favorite edc to take to cvs. It’s easily concealed, and I live in a faggy state which doesn’t offer ccw licenses very readily.

i went the "screw your CCW" route and just keep one in my car in faggy blue state

just a reminder to all of you that do that remember to bring it back inside for a periodic oiling, the heat will cause the viscosity to thin and dry out your moving parts. you can even use grease; i was going to experiment with silicone based or disc brake caliper grease, as that is basically the same application parameters for that lube

I have 2 generations of FN FiveseveN's and the SW-57. I've handled the Ruger 5.7, but not the PSA yet.
Based on my experience the SW 57 is the pick of the litter, hands down.
That rotating barrel design brings the recoil to nothing and you can shoot like Jerry Miculek. Steel 22 round mags, the whole thing is tits.

1. This is my rifle. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

2. My rifle is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life.

3. My rifle, without me, is useless. Without my rifle, I am useless. I must fire my rifle true. I must shoot straighter than my enemy who is trying to kill me. I must shoot him before he shoots me. I will …

4. My rifle and myself know that what counts in this war is not the rounds we fire, the noise of our burst, nor the smoke we make. We know that it is the hits that count. We will hit….

5. My rifle is human, even as I, because it is my life. Thus, I will learn it as a brother. I will learn its weaknesses, its strength, its parts, its accessories, its sights and its barrel. I will ever guard it against the ravages of weather and damage as I will ever guard my legs, my arms, my eyes and my heart against damage. I will keep my rifle clean and ready. We will become part of each other. We will ….

6. Before God, I swear this creed. My rifle and myself are the defenders of my country. We are the masters of our enemy. We are the saviors of my life.

7. So be it, until victory is America’s and there is no enemy, but peace!!

what I've learned from looking at medical reports and studies is that bigger rounds don't matter until you're hitting rifle calibres

the best pistol is a small comfortable easily concealed form factor with as many bullets as you can fit in it and a good second choice is a gun that just fires blanks

The width of the pistol round's wound channel is meaningless compared to putting another wound channel in someone
Most cases of defensive gun use are resolved by simply BRANDISHING, not using
Most of the time a gun is fired defensively nobody even gets hit

On average it takes 7 gunshot wounds from a pistol to kill someone
>>

Hi faggots
>>
>>23388313
I wouldn't trust medical reports, e.g. if someone taken 2 44 mags and died in 10 sec and another taken 2 9mm and died 30 min later the medical report would be the same
>>

>>23388322
Unfortunately it doesn't matter. Bullts rounds caliber. It doesn't matter. you pull out your concealed carry piece and you blast in hopes that it matters. People die or live base upon how lucky or unlucky they get.

There are many jurisdictions within the USA that will be sympathetic to this argument. Bad guy = I emptied my mag into him in hopes that he stoped. This is not legal avice please advise.
>>
>>23388388
this is true, but it also wildly depends on caliber and the type of gun being used.
I have a suppressed .357 lever action that when firing .38 is quiet as shit.
I shoot it in my yard all the time and I live in a suburb and my neighbors have never heard it.

Yeah you're about right and I'm vaguely recalling hte FBI report that I read many years ago. Plainclothes officers, on the very off-chance scenario that they even encountered some kind of bad guy; they only have to defend themselves against 1-2 assailants at most. Usually only one. This probably means some small handgun with about a 10 round mag but let the gun guys correct me on this.
