Rick being the contrarian that he is, he's now saying that silver isn't the great opportunity it was a year or two back. I actually agree with him since it's now back at its previous all time highs. When you're a multimillionaire you want to exit your positions over time and sell into strength. I think it's bizarre to think he should never sell any shares when the goal is literally to buy low and sell high. I've made a lot of money buying stocks Rick has talked about when they are cheap. I don't always agree with his takes (his NA natgas bull thesis and Largo Vanadium redox battery speculation have been hilariously wrong for example) but his philosophy and way of investing have stuck with me. He's one of the best people to learn from if you want to become a better investor in this godawful sector. I wouldn't have made half the gains I made if I had listened to Don Durrett or some other grifter when learning the ropes.

Rick ended up selling near a local top and he was very open about it. I honestly don't think he did anything wrong.
