There we go. Baytex has now officially divested Eagle Ford. What a shitshow, they bought that a few years back. lol. Next they will likely buy Spartan's Pembina Duvernay acreage next door. And maybe they'll also buy Paramount's Willesden Green Duvernay a few years from now.

Baytex has a history of at least paying a full price in asset transactions. I would expect this time to not be an exception. They'll pay a good price for those acres.

no chance, the project needs outside cash to finish the mill and have any value. arlit is shutdown and all they have of value is the above ground stockpile.

Those meetings have been focused on completing the bank’s internal process to prepare for their Credit Committee’s review and approval of our Dasa Project. Similarly, we have continued meeting with a potential JV partner regarding a project level minority joint venture investment into our SOMIDA subsidiary in Niger.”

That's sweet Finbro, excellent work! My YTD is only +162% and about to get hammered today. I was referring to Hecla with the +219% YTD when they were pumping a few days ago

Finbro, you should taunt Michael Burry (picrel) with your YTD gain on X, maybe he'll enter our positions

What's weird about oil right now? The price is low because there is a lot of supply, but there is already a demand response with crack spreads trending up. Oil equities are echoing the positive signals in demand by showing a lot of strength in the charts. Earlier this week WTI fell by 4% but the oil stocks held steady. Very good time to be long o&g desu
>>23606446
Embarrassing moment for Burry. I feel for him though. He was just not in sync with the markets like he said himself. It takes a lot of character to liquidate an entire fund like that. It's hard being a bear
>>23606572
just selling off in sympathy with the S&P I think. FOMC contemplating a pause in rate cuts. Short term selling moment in gold. I still think there's a strong support around $4k/oz. Gold is bouncing back already. Wouldn't worry too much about this

Speaking of crude quality, did you see Enbridge approving an extra 250kbbls/d of extra Canadian heavy oil egress to the USA by 2027? Oil sands producers just keep on winning. Imagine if they decide to change their tone on Keystone XL next? Holy moly. The tar must flow and WCS will trade at a premium to WTI (lol if only)
>>
>>23612747
Calling it tar is a hate crime. Even suggesting such a thing gets you taken by thugs and put in a pedo-van. I hear they send you up highway 881 and lock you up in a skid shack somewhere in the vicinity of Fort Mckay.

They just did a greasy financing with full in-the-money warrants. AFAIK American financings don't come with a hold period, and both listings have low volumes traded, so I don't know if there's a hurry to buy especially since any upwards movement will be limited by the financing but there's still downside risk with the broader markets selling off.
