drones should be a war crime and the only reason they are not is that the 'bad guys' are not using them

>shotguns should be a war crime because they're too effective at clearing trenches
I would like you to explain why exactly you think drones should be a war crime.
>>
>>23639788
by your logic why ban exploding and expanding bullets, why ban incendiary weapons, why ban chemical weapons, why ban blinding through lazers as all of these are effective tactics?
stupid american
>>
>>23639864
No I was presenting you an argument made by the Germans in WW1 after experiencing the trench shotgun. They deemed it cruel and barbaric calling for it to be banned. It obviously wasn't.
>hollow points and expanding rounds
Fragmentation of the round makes saving them nearly impossible. They're designed to maim and ensure a slow torturous death.
>incendiary weapons
You can't effectively control fire and it then becomes a problem for civilians in the area.
>chemical weapons
You can't control the direction of the wind and this poses a risk to civilians in the area.
>lasers
They're designed to maim instead of kill. You can't have weapons that are intended to blind people. Have you even read the Geneva conventions?
Regardless you didn't answer my question. Why do you think drones should be a war crime?
>>
>>23639903
>confident incorrect
dunning kruger effect much.
I didnt answer because you are retarded and clearly have not seen drones used in the field.

I see so your argument is an appeal to emotion. I watch drone footage all the time. Kagan Dunlaps channel is full of it and it's all over tiktok. I've seen Ukie drones drop grenades right into tanks and trenches. They're advancing too with the new wire guided drones.
Still this isn't an answer to why you believe it should be a war crime. In WW2 air dropped bombs were scary. Back in my day it was guided munitions like cruise missiles. Now it's drones.
There's literally no difference between these munitions other than how precise they are. With a drone we can ensure the safety of civilians. We can't with dumb fire bombs or most of our guided munitions.
So I ask again. Why do you think drones should be a war crime?
>>
Death to Death poster since you enjoy it so much experience it

>I see so your argument is an appeal to emotion
incorrect again, i havent put forth an argument as it say it should be a war crime so how is my argument emotional
> In WW2 air dropped bombs were scary. Back in my day it was guided munitions like cruise missiles.
implying they have the same use cases? are you retarded thats latterly like comparing apples to oranges
im wondering now if this is just an act or if you are actually retarded? being american I think the latter

are you sure you aren't just horrified by the things you've seen?
because that is probably distinct from a war crime, except maybe in the scary buzzword sense

although,
>>23639903
>Fragmentation of the round makes saving them nearly impossible. They're designed to maim and ensure a slow torturous death.
this seems to apply to alot of the drone explosive clips i've seen, and also regular fragmentation grenades, now that i think about it?
i'm now genuinely curious why grenades aren't banned on that basis
>>
i always see people writhing after shrapnel explosions & can't help but think "if only the explosives used were much stronger, people would die instantly instead of from shrapnel"
cheap-ass defense companies, is all i can think of
i'm sure it's complicated though
>>
>>23640659
Grenade fragmentation rips through the body in large chunks. If one gets embedded in you it's fairly easy to locate it and get it out. Fragmenting munitions like hollow point ammunition create very small fragments that can be very hard to locate in the body meaning you could be left with fragments of lead or brass in your body for life.
If you read the Hague convention they go over it but you have to read up on us military interpretation to understand why we don't use them.

Thank you for letting me jaw at you a bit about warfare conventions. I do indeed have autism and my fixation is warfare. I don't get to talk about it a whole lot but between this and explaining ATACS in Ukraine has me gassed up as the kids say.

It's a very expensive obsession to have. Especially when my tastes aren't cheap. Sure i could go bulk purchase HiPoints or Kalash clones but I hate both of those. The AK platform is ugly but NATO weapons are expensive. H&K, Beretta and FN have successfully made me their bitch. I'm findommed by companies in other countries.
