Sorry I knew about dbi a few weeks back, didn't share. Still gonna run tho, those women luv their shoes, no matter the state of the econ.

Another good turnaround might be xerox, they only got one decent quarter under their belt tho, so might be a long time.

But all dbi needed before this current rally was 3 decent positive income quarters, xerox got a bigger mcap so that window might be 1 or 2. WEN might also be a turnaround but haven't done a read of their 10k, but also it's got a steady downtrend so any break from that would be a greenlight to begin buying.

Hope all y'alls are locked in. Got only 20 days left in the year, I gots to reach 150 10ks read by then. I've gotten pretty streamlined in my process, I can get a good enough picture whether to buy or ignore within 1 hour reading and a page or two of notes. Guess the notes are just there in case a dud turns up later, can see what the ticker is like without spending another hour on the 10k.

Imma think chop is needed for a while longer, seeing how jpow set off the market for a bit, but chop resumed once he stopped talking, idk tho, odds are that most the big Dawgs are waiting til trump goes on vacation.

futes red, and lows of the week. makes tomorrow an important day. qe starts on friday though so maybe that stops the bleeding, if we even get that. in a couple hours volume will pick up and we will see what they really want, the russell made a new high today fwiw and that's not exactly bearish, think we're just in the middle of a cheeky selloff of the mega cap tech, end of year profit taking and rotation. think tech is still the most attractive sector but the big wallet has big profits to take. feel like the fed was dovish today in a big way and that the runway is clear for new highs by end of year. how we get there isn't clear though. hoping they don't dump tech too much but i'll ride it out if they do. intel had a presentation today, said there is high demand for pc and data centers and that will likely continue for several quarters, and i went out this weekend to a very large shopping center and it was absolutely packed on a sunday night, so the consumer is strong too. little bit of fear and bad vibes in the market but i'm convinced it will pass.

horrible week for me but not really for the market, the russell had a green week and breadth actually improved. concentrated in intc/googl and "innovation" funds so it was pretty rough for me. the yield curve also steepened which is bullish. there is some not so great ai news i guess but it's nothing to worry about imo, seems just like some music to go with the dancing, i see this as profit taking and rotation but don't expect this trend to last in the market.

slept all afternoon and feeling a bit better. still gonna make it a cardio day though. hot water is fixed, gonna have a warm shower and count my blessings.

worst day in a long time. thankfully i slept through most of it, and about to get more. will do cardio late night, should be good to lift tomorrow. hope everyone else is doing better than i am.

overslept and i'm gonna miss the gym i think. oh well. this pain and fatigue got to me. and it's still here and i think i'll do cardio today. won't skip this one though. feels like a setback but i think once it passes i'll be healthier, and i think that will be soon.
eth started pumping a little bit ago and that's a nice good sign. if it can retake 3200 this weekend it will inspire confidence, and i think we do pump monday, reach new highs soon, finish the year on highs. think good times return to the market soon, and stay for a good long while. ai investment is still massive and this breadth improvement raises confidence in the rest of the economy and the future.

lazy day. but i got all my laundry done. and i've been awake for most of it too. might make some sleep improvements. spotted penelope on /pol/, gave her a scolding. wish things were different but that's where we're at. she will change someday, and be grateful another, i have to believe that. watching movies on youtube, will do some cardio later. neck/shoulder pain is a little better but still bothering me, setting back my lifting. no matches or messages on the dating apps, made a few posts on /biz/ but it's not very fun, everyone there is a paranoid bear or a contrarian or /pol/ posting, not many good ideas, not many laughs, no friendship.
i am confident the ai trade resumes shortly. the firehose of capital is aimed squarely there and isn't moving, i'm a little shocked a rotation came this early, but i take it as a positive sign, that tptb are confident that the ai "bubble" continues and prosperity spills over into the rest of the economy, a rush for the exits or panic would look much different, the russell made a new high last week as did breadth indicators like the advance/decline line. bears see things differently obviously but i think there's a lot of resentment from people that missed out or were under-allocated, people that want a crash to justify their politics, or who have a spiteful agenda and want bad things to happen, or just oppositional personality disorders, lotta that as well. do think it's possible healthcare outperforms here though, the sector is undervalued, it's the second best sector growth-wise even in a world without ai, and they will be the first and biggest beneficiaries of machine learning, hastening drug discovery, but by no means do i think tech is dead, just willing to concede that possibility.

Lmao just messing, you are in great shape man, I gotta start incorporating some weights into my routine again. I increased my pushup count to 50 this week during my cardio workout at the track but I have been going pretty hard and my quads are borderline pulled muscles at this point so I took it easy today and will again tomorrow with the hopes of hitting it hard again on Monday. Just ate a prime strip steak and am about to drink some milk so that should help with recovery. But tonight is movie night so I will probably make a hot cocoa and eat some chocolate covered peanuts as weekend my cheat snack.

It's 5 sets of 10 pushups after each lap that is 1/5th of a mile. I also hold planks and do crunches/leg lifts each lap as well and then run another 5 to 10 laps after without stopping to do the bodyweight stuff. I started at 5 sets of 5 pushups like 2 months ago. I'm down about 30 lbs since August. Last year when I was bench pressing every day I could do 50 pushups and I was a bit overweight. That's why I stopped lifting weights and switched to body weight exercises this time around, because I found that get too hungry when I'm lifting. But you are correct I can't do 50 consecutive at this moment, I can do like 25 or 30 if I'm fresh.

I'm not trying to talk you down, but I actually thought you meant 50 in a row. It's obviously possible if you do it like vidrel, but that wouldn't be my standard as there'd be slight pauses between the reps and not this "swinging".

What I loved for chest is dips, but those where you really push through like the guys on the rings.

I have a playground closeby with bars close enough to do dips, yet also high enough to have the legs in the front. And with the legs to the front you can push really fully through into a full lockout and feel an extreme pump in the middle of the chest which you can't when you do dips with legs behind the body. I'm sure you could do the same thing with a regular dipstation but it would need to be high enough which is often not the case unfortunately.

That's exactly how I do them since I know I'm not doing many and I consider the time on the floor a "rest" period from the run where I focus on deep breathing and lowering my heart rate while doing these pushups.

Unfortunately I don't know of anywhere close by where I have access to the rings but that is the type of exercise I'm more interested in now as I age. I always seem to over do it with benching and hurt my shoulder the same way every time which makes me stop lifting, which makes me get weak, and then we gotta start over again from the beginning. It's insane how fast my muscles seem to atrophy if I don't keep up with the exercise

The easiest on the shoulder is the decline-bench. And the decline bench basically mirrors push-ups, but these benches are also the rarest in a gym.

I'm just lucky with those bars. They are not perfect, a bit thick, but managable. In gyms I don't think I've seen dipbars high enough for it or rings even though more costly gyms or crossfitgyms likely have that.

Getting+installing rings in your home is another whole thing. And even rings would also not the same I assume. Rings would very likely be a lot more difficult, a lot more stabilizing necessary by the shoulders and less concentration on the chest. Basically like dumbbells need more focus on balance and shoulders than barbell.

did my cardio. very late but a win is a win. mom came into my room just now bleary eyed and the first words out of her mouth were "is the vacuum talking?" -_-'
to be fair, we have a vacuum that makes noise and talks sometimes, and that's what she meant. not that it was telling her do things son of sam style, but even so it wasn't making any noise and she had hallucinated, 2nd or 3rd time that has happened in a couple months, she is starting to hear voices when she is trying to sleep. not good. it won't be long until i am taking care of her. that's life though.
should probably get some sleep, can't believe i'm still awake myself. difficult day. learned penelope works a 2nd job, does doordash deliveries, she said so on /pol/. made me sad for her, that she needs money, that her life is like that. wanna come to her rescue so badly. wish she would let me. anyways tomorrow is a new day, niners have an easy game, i might miss it though, not sure if it will be on tv around here. weekend is half over now and i should sleep through most the rest. can't wait until market open.
