R9k and pol in 2017 is what brought me to 4chan. I would hear about incels and hear they come from 4chan so I would come here and land on those two boards just to look for threads to laugh at and make fun of in my head. I didn't understand the website at all but would stick around anyways because the threads I would find especially on r9k were peak incel content that I would find entertaining enough to make this my main website overtaking twitter.
