You MIGHT actually have a chance at being a woman if you didn't just open a bottle of ZZ Top Have Mercy Hot Sauce and put some on your bowl of mashed potatoes with salmon and the bottle is just barely shy of half empty now.
But, if you DID just do that then your face is probably covered in tears like a BITCH, too!
just keep looking at my net worth. still modest i guess but it's more than i ever really thought i'd have at this point, i've never spent more than 15 grand in a year, nowhere near that even, starting to think about my options, what to do with my money. before i was worried i wouldn't have enough to live on, now i'm optimistic i'll actually make it, get rich. another year like last one and i'll truly have a lot of money, and it's starting out pretty big. so anyways trying to come to terms with it, wrap my head around it, gotta think about what i really want, other than love of course. i think penelope might eventually come around. she gets all out of whack when things "happen" politically, she's really nervous about losing the narrative and being on the losing team again, and i think the ice shooting thing shook her. she spent a lot of energy posting about it and framing it like a good thing to be happy about and how bad the lady was. i didn't really get involved but i could tell it wore her nerves thin, made her upset with me. maybe in the aftermath she's feeling bad about the way she acted, maybe she'll connect the dots between her politics and her anger. hoping so.

>>23865495she's not a man, but she's definitely the masculine figure in this relationship, having the 9-5 job and the conservative politics and short temper and lacking depth of feeling. that's something i've always known but am seeing clearer now. i've tried to treat her like a little girl too much but she wants to be treated like a man, dealt with like a man, and that's going to be my next move, a little bit of "you hurt me, how could you?" which she has more than earned.
>>23865815>sheis a man who tongues my anus so anyone who kisses>heris tonguing my anus by proxy and the only NON NIGGER next move you need to be making is finding something else to think about and focus on.

I've already written some about TUNNEL VISION and HEAD IDEAS vs REALITY. This has all triggered a lot moar to snap into place on such matters. I just made some notes in my writing scratch pad.

>>23865996I’m looking forward to your “book”You probably read The Power of Positive Thinking by Norman Vincent Peale, 1952. It explains in detail how faith+positive expectations = dramatically better life results.
>>23866188that’s a tardis.
>>23866198BUT IT'S RED, WHAT DOES A RED PHONEBOOTH DO?https://youtu.be/L2dJlc73iOY?si=tQF9Vi_23uXbx_5t
>>23866193I read that when it was given to me as a kid. I'm not too much based on "positive thinking" in terms of "solving" worldly matters in any standard sense of that meaning, though. True faith doesn't depend on worldly things "going your way" or any such notion. That's how all those who only followed for the free fish and bread were oriented. The much greater benefit of true faith is that you don't turn into a suicidal bitch through worldly difficulties/struggles or not having some ideal life paradigm. Peale was an ear tickler.
>>23866213It's a powerful multiplier for effort, resilience, and opportunity-spotting. Especially when combined with action and a willingness to see things as they are. Not “manifesting”.As I read it, it’s a technique for mental engineering. Optimizing the software (your mind) that controls the hardware (your actions and physiology).
I would say perhaps the closest I get to "solving" worldly "problems" with "positive thinking" is replacing negative thought patterns that are dragging someone down to potentially irreparable depths. The best distinction I can think of between my own notions of "positive thinking" and those of Peale's or any of the other "secrets to success" types is "mine" has zero direct notion of achieving worldly goals like "getting rich" or "finding love" or any of that general /type/ of thinking. It's not to say those things are "bad" in and of themselves, but there are much higher, much more worthwhile goals that this world and its paradigms blinds us to. It fills us with desires, lusts, cravings, demands for its "treasures" and it defines what treasure even is for us. It tells us that the absolute most worthwhile things are worthless, and things which are only good within this world are supreme. This is all very quick, crude, simplistic attempts to address far more complex matters/notions.
>>23866238I started writing >>23866257 before this posted so just now seeing it. Yes, mental engineering and optimizing your mental software that controls your hardware is absolutely right on, and I write a lot about that exact thing in great detail. However, I would say that the most essential KEY in all of that regard is determining what actually /is/ the ultimately "optimal/optimized" state, and /that/ is where essentially none of us are /good/. If our entire paradigm (be they personal or group) are oriented around the "wrong" foundation, then literally everything else within our paradigm is going to /miss the mark/.
>>23866257>potentially irreparable depthsNothing is irreparable, if you can walk yourself into such depths even the deepest layers of hell and demon possession then you can walk yourself back out of it. It’s easy once you know how it’s done. You feel it running through your bones and then you (walk it out dance it out) move without rhythm. The only thing that could make it irreversible is your refusal to comply with your will to walk yourself back. What’s in the past is the past though and it’s never coming back it’s best to let go and not look back in anger and keep moving forward. Repairing lies in being in the moment somewhere in the future. You don’t have to worry about the future either, expectations are a recipe for more resentment. God bless out there gentlemen. Peace
>>23866208Dial the secret code, and a hidden door reveals an Art Deco lounge.>>23866268>>23866257The "right" foundation is subjective to the individual. Regardless of your ambition, taking a glass-half-full approach is a winning strategy for a better life. And before things fall apart, and they will, accepting THA LORD GOD ALMIGHTY as your "fair" portion, that you don't "deserve" anything...is the faith element that keeps the glass half-full even after it's spilled for the nth time. Optimistic realism wins...face reality clearly, tilt towards hope and possibility, replace USELESS RUMINATION with constructive thinking. As far as a one-size-fits-all definition of what is "constructive" ... something like working towards becoming more useful, not aiming for happiness.

>>23866303>>23866328Excellent considerations/notions. There is, however, an ultimate actual fundamental non-negotiable /right/ foundation to literally all ultimate actual reality regardless of what any of us subjectively "believe/think".Imagine this (experimental thought hypothetical example of principle): countless people think the ultimately wrong things and behave in the ultimately wrong ways, but they enjoy "success" within a certain set of relatively temporary circumstances. Those relatively temporary circumstances last hundreds/thousands of years. Anyone within this world sees nothing but the "success", but it is still an illusion. On "the other side" of this world, all of that apparent "success" was actually failure which lasts far, far longer than the temporary circumstances which allowed it to /seem/ to be "success". The "success" was an illusion all along, which countless humans admired, desired, followed because it "looked so good" from this temporary vantage point.Thousands and thousands of works (writings, movies, shows, videos, etc.) get created detailing "how to do it". The results are repeatable /enough/ to create enough new /examples/ that it perpetuates the paradigm, showing over and over, continuously, how "good" it looks, and how "achievable" it is. Everyone seen in those works within the "success" roles appears to be very "happy", and it is projected that they "did things right", that they "played the game of life and won". Essentially "all of the evidence" supports the paradigm.Yet, beyond those limited circumstances, it's all ultimately the opposite. It was all actually ultimately wrong. It was all a TRAP, and:TRAPSAREGAYAYOU DON'T WANT 2 B GAY DO U?
>>23866400>”the other side”the ants in an ant farm operate within a frame of reference that is limited by their perception. any metric gauging their “success” or “failure” which requires perception outside of that frame is not accessible to them. they are bound to the limits prescribed by their nature and environment. if what is successful in the immediate sense is ultimately “failure” as judged by an unknowable standard, and the ants are held accountable for that failure, the trap is inescapable and choice is an illusion.
>>23866588CHECKEDbut wake me when ANTS can write BALZAC'S HUMAN COMEDY, or DANTE'S DIVINE one.I don't know about you, but from my perspective, us and ants "are not the same" (beyond a certain extent).
>>23866588Don't get me wrong, what you're saying is "perfectly valid" as a /choice/ of paradigm, a /choice/ of "way" within this world, according to what one can /SEE/. BUT, if one professes their goal to be following THA LORD GOD ALMIGHTY in accord with the paradigms described/expressed/outlayed Biblically, then it outright states that you cannot rely on worldly sight to understand ultimate actual fundamental reality, /and/ it outright states that following THA LORD GOD ALMIGHTY will often lead to suffering, as it did the Christ, and it outright states that we are called to follow regardless. So, that's the choices, and I personally will not outright condemn anyone for whatever ones they make, because I understand to very great depths and to very fine detail just how DEEP and DENSE the illusions of this world are. And, btw, I studied that (the world paradigms being illusions/traps) not only Biblically, but within Buddhism also, which was very worthwhile just for getting some vantage point contrasts. Contrasts can help one to see things more clearly sometimes, via comparisons. I don't just mean reading books, btw. I used to go to a monastery and talk with the monks and the abbot regularly (mid 90s). I still benefit greatly from lots of things I picked up from them and /lots/ of books then, too.So, I don't proclaim anyone with a different view than mine to be a NIGGER and get all upset and insistent that you "see things my way". I merely tell you everything I can about what I "know/think" so that you can have the "food for thought" in your own journey of trying to "figure shit out", but that will include me telling you what I "know/think" to be "wrong" with yours. Put another way, me telling you what I "know/think" to be "wrong" with yours is not intended to be insulting (calling you a NIGGER), and if you tell me what you "know/think" to be "wrong" with mine, you will be far from alone, and THA LORD GOD ALMIGHTY outright states the world has far more followers.

A bit moar on "POSITIVE THINKING"There is /far/ more to "positive thinking" than "optimism" or evaluations of the volumes of liquids in glasses. Some /other/ key /types/ of "positive thinking" are:1) My primary concern: Your "thinking" either is (positve) or is not (negative) aligned with ultimate actual fundamental reality.2) Affirmation of/toward something, like "muh sex positive". This means you have a /positive view/ toward recreational sex. This is merely an easy example, and you can apply this same /type/ of "positive thinking" to essentially infinite contextual "things".3) CONFIDENCE. This one is a form of "optimism", but often applied in somewhat different ways/contexts than simply "having an optimistic outlook". As in, "I am positive that my thinking is correct". Regardless of whether or not it is correct, this is still a form of "positive thinking", and it can also be "useful" in "achieving goals" (both ultimately actually positive/negative in the 1) sense).MUH OPTIMISM is also a form of "positive thinking", but can be both "helpful" and/or "detrimental". Being optimistic that something is going to happen, but it doesn't, then being let down, proved the "positive thinking" to actually be /negative/, as it was not "correct" in the 1) sense. Being confident in one's own fantasy idea of someone/something yet being seriously actually wrong is not net /positive/ in the 1) sense. Being a big fan of something, thinking it's great, seeing "nothing wrong with it", yet it being ultimately profoundly detrimental is /not/ positive in the 1) sense.
