People in congress and the president have the ability to act according to their best judgement and they are typically*** better informed and more intelligent about political stuff and running a nation. However as we've seen recently the average voter is an idiot and the masses of idiots can vote in idiots like the current president. So what we really need is a literacy test so that only well educated people can vote i.e 12th grade(payed attention in class) and college level. This would completely kill off the far right and MAGA movement and would prevent the dull screaming liberals from voting in controlled opposition candidates to the democratic party.
