What kind of cert should I get? I'm kind of tired of being a burden and no one's hiring people with no experience. I haven't lived a single moment in 2026
>>
forklift takes a month to get, is cheap and theyre needed everywhere

this seems based

you could get infosec certs, maybe
i've heard companies usually don't like when people collect like a dozen certs, it's better to only get/list the relevant ones for whatever job, which shouldn't be more than 2 or 3
idk if that's true but it's what i heard..

yeah and in the average warehouse, you can dab on the cucks who do the mundane, physical shit while you're chilling in a machine. nobody is even allowed to hurry you because you could cause a rack collapse with a single wrong move
>>

hehe
i've only talked to a few forklift operators (online and irl), but they all seemed really chill & happy
>>
>>23912854
yeah just keep in mind that you won't progress much beyond being a forklift driver. but you can quickly establish your position in the company especially if there aren't many forklifters there to begin with

general trade foundations if you can get it paid by the government
will get you a comfy manufacturing job right out of the unemployment program xD
or you could just be security and work nights ig

If you're in a real country you just show you can use one and you get on it, no "certificates"
Spadek kurwa z czasu PRLu, w Holandii po prostu jeździsz

If the profession doesn't specifically require it, you just lie on your resume. You're there to make an impression on the person hiring and to make yourself unforgettable.

yeah if youre working in some shitty small "family" company maybe. bigger companies won't let you drive one because the insurance company will fuck them over if an unlicensed worker causes damage. the first thing you ever learn on the course is that you're doing it so there's someone to blame if there's an accident.

My last job (got laid off in 2022) was in the environment. I didn't really like it plus every week I'd get asked were I was born and they'd be surprised when I said here. Makes me feel like I was never meant for the environment.

>infosec certs
I'll take them into consideration, thanks. I was considering some comptia certs but they often recommend you have some experience first
idk

>I was considering some comptia certs but they often recommend you have some experience first
well keep in mind they're often targeted towards fluoride-brained office workers who've used windows 10 until like age 25-30 when they're learning these certs
it depends on which you're interested in, obviously, but u can skim study guides & practice tests
they're often not that difficult

but yeah, it's better to have experience using the information obviously, will help u retain it much better if nothing else
>>

kek, they hand you a 1 hour course, that's the "license"
no, if you're working as a temp they most certainly do not give a flying fuck
>>
>>23912979
i worked in 3 warehouses and in every single one they asked me about the license. they werent even large companies. if you want an actual job and not a glorified gig, you should look for offers where they require a license
>>
>>23912927
alright I'll keep that in mind
>>23912979

I don't think I want a forklift license unless it's the absolute last resort (with my stupidity, it probably will)
