It's really hard to make em burger bun soft without putting too much butter, oil/sugar which I don't want to do because it's already a high calorie meal.

it's just an enzyme that makes the buns softer, it's not a chemical or some shit ingredient. It's a bakers secret when they want to make something soft without enrichment. And a little goes along way.

Yeah of course you can't do without an egg and some butter, but you just put less butter and sugar that was my point and it becomes insanely soft, something I could never replicate without it.

It is absolutely trash in this corner of North America right now. The plows have stopped running in surrounding counties here, and I am treating minor chemical burns and light frostnip on my hands from pumping gas last night - cold metal and calcium chloride residue...

At some point I will start treating my body like I want it to last, and stop treating baking like an excuse to injure and maim, but until then, more eggs, more sugar, more butter, more chocolate cupcakes and weed truffles that people eat three of and skip dinner, despite having mad munchies.

It's the double fry Heston Bloumenthol method, I boiled them first, freeze em and then double fry.
