um...supposedly God will vanquish Satan eventually, but it's only really a matter of time when. Because Satan isn't nearly as powerful as God they say.
But I have thought that maybe God doesn't want to save us, and he doesn't think very highly of us. Though, they say it's Satan's fault, God still blamed the humans in say, Genesis, when the forbidden fruit was eaten against his wishes. So it's hard to say how much he actually blames us or not, or just how much sway Satan actually has over humanity, if we really can resist him or not.
