>>
JUST realized i NIGGERED. The other day when i figured up the dates for the BOIL/KOLD rools i ran "cal" but didn't run "cal -A 1" so only saw Jan and started counting the first 6 business days. This made me think the rool starts Thurs but actually it starts NEXT Moon and runs through that FRY.

Gonna go put on my BURGER KING CROWN and look in the mirror for a bit.

I just searched that, figuring it must be a lyric from something. That's mighty interesting to have POASTED, what led you to do so? I vaguely knew of that show existing but never saw it. Is that pic perhaps taken decades later and from the set or something? Did that show contribute to or influence the development of your psyche in some way?
>>
>>23956848
It's a breddy gud little song and i listened a few times and watched the intro vid. It seems like it might have been a show i would have liked during kid years. i looked at that musician too and it seemed to be his only song. That's too bad because it rocked breddy gud.

Lezdoothis bros we gonna crush this week, I hit my 10k milestone so gonna let my current basket grow fo a few months before I read mo new 10ks, gotta finish reading a collection of buffets essays tho, then all milestones hit and I gots to get new ones, likely just mo 10ks.

Got to go down to the lotto office too, no big win but enough that I can't scan it at the machine for credit. Got other tickets that I could reinvest at the machine in the lobby, all in all a good deployment of capital, made it all back in winnings so imma redeploy. Got a theory that they push the random distributions of prizes to the front for new scratchers and it's been proven correct so far, so imma buy only the new scratchers from now on. Funny how I just got a gamble itch, and once it's scratched, I'm far less likely to gamble in my portfolio, and even then my one gamble right now is fairly tame, smart ceo running it.

I saw an Indonesian Anon on /biz/ the other day with "all of their money" in their index and it crashing. I just nooticed on Trading Economics that Indonesia just showed an unexpected trade surplus so was hoping to also see that that Anon would "be ok", but their index is tanking even further. They also showed a bit more inflation than expected. But, there are much deeper issues going on over there. I pray for that brother to be able to surf these perilous waves within his life.

I like the general notion of the in show "world" being "a little wild/strange". It seems like gud western themed fun. I read that the girl on there quit acting and went into a "private life" due to a stalker, and now runs a clothing store in NY.
>>
>>23957366
the native character was a huge urban legend for years because nobody had heard from him since the show ended
a little wild and a little strange for someone to completely disappear in this day and age

"if you're an illegal immigrant" like whoa, holy shit lady as if it was that simple, they're looking at my IP probably
>>
>>23957549
ya they just wanna see if anyone will deport themselves, save some money. hope it works, don't need people workin here in a legal grey area, ruins honest businesses. I remember reading a 10k for a landscaping chain, and their number one problem was ex-employees starting up their own crews then undercutting the big dawgs by not paying insurance and I assume using illegals. Well they only last a year or so, but the clients find another cheapo to take their place. The only solution is to take illegals outta the equation, now you must pay legal people a reasonable wage, or you won't have employees.
>>
>>23957572
Landscaping is only like one example that is not easily outsourced, but even if you don't have illegals, you still have to face competition from companies that charge less, but there is also monopolies
>>
>>23957141
I don't know, I have a feeling it's all taking a hit tomorrow.
>>
>>23957579
ya but without illegals and the cheap cheap labor that comes with them on the board, everyone has a more level playing field, so if ya charge more but show up on time and always do a good job, clients will be willing to pay a little extra for the consistency and quality.

and sure monopolies exist, but only for high barrier industries. anything with a lower barrier is ripe for a disruption from time to time.

the way someone explained capitalism best was in my book on rockefeller, they said that the machine of capitalism was working fine, it was just the inputs that got wonky, so the gov had to step in (way too late, oil was already fragmenting, and most the other monopolies along with it) and regulate the input a bit. hell they didn't even do much, all the haters were never happy, and ol' John D never really broke a sweat through the entire trust busting ordeal. The gov now overregulates IMO, but its still far better than other systems that are far more corruptible.

It ain't perfect, but there's a reason USA stocks are by far the most traded, and there's also a reason why china is so huge yet their stock market behaves in the most weird ways. ya can't even bother applying technical OR fundamental analysis to any chinese stocks. and not that they're all corrrupt, its just that the CCP can step in any time and wreck any company they want to for any reason, I remember that much from reading a chinese stock that largely does business in the US, so they were based outta deleware even tho the rest of operations were in china.

We know, by the rules, that at some moment the Black Horsemen will come shattering through the great terrace doors, wreaking vengeance and scattering the survivors. >Saging (or smudging) a space is an ancient, respectful ritual used to clear negative energy, reset, and purify a home, office, or thread. The process involves lighting dried sage while posting "NIGGERS" and "JEWS", ideally ethically sourced, allowing it to smolder, and walking clockwise through a space while directing the smoke into corners, doorways, and windows to remove stagnation and invite positivity.

For maximum effectiveness I exclusively use ethically sourced NIGGERS and JEWS to do my all of my thread purification rituals. As you can see, the results speak for themselves.

just a thought, once silver comes down, it is bound to overreact.

imma load up on cash and slurp if that happens. I heard a story from one of my youtube finance bros that he got turned away from one dealer when he went back the next day to sell more, had to sell to multiple dealers for about 20% off spot. idk if dealers can sell through their inventory quick enough, bound to be a oversupply somewhere once this is over.

but also in current news, new lows are plentiful today, im digging through the bin right now, so far a buncha same ol' same ol' but 200 of 'em when there's usually 50, so bound to be some mistakes in there.

went to the book sale on day 2, i'd say half the inventory rotated, but found two theology books, one from Saint Symeon the New Theologian, who not only is a saint but when they add "theologian" to it, it makes them tippy top of the saints, and the other from a heretic (but only parts of his teachings? and only some parts of his teachings, and the church back then was trigger happy in calling people heretics, don't do that enough nowadays)

not a fan of the heretic, but St Symeon sounds better, I'll save heretics (even if they're in the gray zone) for later in my theology studies.

other than that stuff, hope y'alls are doing great, stay toasty, keep yo head on a swivel for a sweet deal, this market is prime to serve up a real slowpitch softball deal.

hey guys I'm so objective,

I'm objective about everything, I couldn't be more objective. I love being objective about everything, I expect everything in this world, and the resulting society to fit neatly into my objectivity. Whoa, whoa what is that? why do I look at everything objectively and does that make me cold? well I don't know, I just do.

Everything is made up and decided, but who knows what the ultimate objective is, I'll never tell you at least, what the objective is but I know it. That's why I'm better then you because all my decisions are cooly rational and objective

Catholicism is a joke religion designed to razzle dazzle 12th century peasants while swindling wealth.

Zero scriptural basis for any of the practices or authority they grant themselves. They baptize babies dude lmao.

A baby cannot be baptized because they cannot understand the concept of religion let alone Christ.

It's is almost entirely performative ritualism. Zero credibility. Zero scriptural basis. Zero spiritual authority.

That's why all the based tradwives choose Catholicism. It fits their entire inauthentic identity and they can confess their sins away and go back to living in sin on Monday.
>>
>>23966131
>they can confess their sins away and go back to living in sin on Monday.
listen dude... god can kill you in an instant at any minute..
>>
For clarity for those who are not aware:

Baptism is a ritual that is done to signify ones adoption of and by Christianity and is entirely symbolic. When it is performed on a baby, it is one of the most empty forms of ritualism you can find in the spiritual world because it strips away all meaning from the metaphor. It goes from being a representative rituals to a tool of social control. That's where Catholic baptism strays from the actual intended practice.

It is representative of a washing away of sin, of ignorance and of the old self. A rebirth and cleansing of the soul. The water itself is not what constitutes this. That is the performative and representative part of the ritual. Baptism comes from the old Greek word Baptizo, meaning to immerse. It can be used in physical terms, for example to be immersed in water. How it was actually used was more in terms of knowledge and understanding, to be immersed in knowledge, to be immersed in understanding.

The baptism is representative of the understanding and immersion in the way of Christ, and the word of God. A priest sprinkling water on your head as a baby is quite literally antithetical to the entire practice, totally meaningless and performative ritualism. The meaning becomes quite clear when you actually understand what a baptism is supposed to be.

When you understand that performative ritualism defines the identity of the Catholic Church, it becomes quite clear why it was abandoned in droves shortly after people learned to read.

When they had the Bible translated into their own languages, so that they actually could, and had mass delivered in their own language so they could actually understand the sermon. The Catholic Church also launched wars because of this and killed hundreds of thousands of Christians over the next century. Because they wanted to be able to understand the Bible.

Totally christian bro 4 sure. Have fun listening to your yarmulke wearing Jewish overlord

So the reason I did not use butter or bacon for that matter (probably tastes amazing) was because of the sugarfree strawberry jam that would not harmonize well with butter but real jam would

Man it's up since I checked an hour or so ago. I traded XOM from $100 to $120 over and over a few times a while back and wondered when and which way it would finally break. Even though I no longer trade companies at all I'm glad to see it doing all of this climbing. They were my favorite company, as far as "liking" companies goes. I find their history and the entire strata of what they actually do to be fascinating.

BTW, with regard to this, I once re-assembled Standard Oil as completely as it is possible to do so. I had a chart that showed every component of it that is still alive today in any form, and bought them all. This included Aramco which I bought trough an ETF of Saudi companies, and Unilever which owns Vaseline petroleum jelly.

You know one time I got a literal reply from God? so he does clearly exist.

I had to this keychain with no keys for it. I found it outside a corner store on an outside table and I saw the writing inside the keychain and I thought it might be lucky, so I picked it up and kept it. It was a plastic keychain with like a piece of paper inside of it with writing on it, it wasn't very big. But anyway, I had this thing in my pocket for like a month or two and t hen one day I pull it out of my pocket and the writing on it changed miraculously. A true and real sign. There was no way anyone could have gotten to the keychain it was firmly in my pocket the whole time and nobody could have gotten to it and changed the paper inside.

It was amazing, still to this day I don't \know what to make of it.

It was an autism project. I got the book Titan, about JDR, and read lots of Wikipedia on him, Standard Oil, and each of the branches of its lineage. I read on a lot of the related industrialists of that era, and how their companies affected reality (for example, trains spreading across the nation to transport people, materials, news, etc., vertical building capabilities thanks to steel and engineering advancements, etc.).

You really can't get much (if any) more fundamental to /literally everything/ than ENERGY, though, so I am particularly focused into the fact that they extract these substances/gases which contain concentrations thereof within their molecules and can be released and directed into WORK, resulting in myriads of manifestations throughout the realm.

I only care about the Catholic Church before they split, so anything before the fall of Constantinople, and even then the years leading up to that is iffy.

I still have a lot to learn, but the Eastern Orthodox Church seems pretty cool, and Saint Symeon is huge in the Eastern Orthodox Church, so he cool with me.

I wish the Catholics woulda had some self awareness a few centuries ago, change up the role of the pope, but now it's too late, the pope has a weird role, and he changes to fit in with the times, you don't need to fit in with the current crowd at all, the Orthodox Church understands that, so far the only latest change is a schism with Russia over their invasion of Ukraine
>>
>>23966717
It was all very deeply corrupted well before then, and Paul knew it would happen, too.

https://biblehub.com/acts/20-29.htm

"Saint" Jerome alone was responsible for untold sums of damage. He was personally responsible for introducing what ultimately developed into the "Mary worship" into the dominant institutional "Church™". He read some fan fic from a gnostic cult of virginity (basically they were trying to control their women using Christian frameworks) and he started his own cult of women. He was a seriously warped man. A mother and daughter joined his cult and the daughter died from following his dietary commands, and when the mother was upset over that he rebuked her for not being glad for her daughter's "salvation".

The EKKLESIA is gatherings of those called out from "the world", not a worldly institution.

Your lying and projecting are really something. Your rants aren't just inaccurate, they're talking about corrupted Jews and zionists who circumcise babies with a permanent physical tool of social control. Baptism does no harm to the baby and has to be followed up by confirmation at an older age. Every religion or tribe inducts its babies at birth. Not coincidentally, protestants under Jewish influence spread circumcision through Britain into America, permanently harming countless babies.

The kinds of things you dishonestly call "performative ritualism" have been recognized for thousands of years across all civilizations as necessary bonding for adults and communities. Your edgy hate is why society is full of alienated, isolated people (mostly of color) who have had enough of your abuse.
>*Kills 15 million Christians*
The only ones who did that were socialists. Both communists and fascists.
>>
>>23966876
The resurgence of Christendom among younger generations is dousing the multi-generational jewish plot to destroy western tradition from within. They would've gotten away with it too if it were not for those BLESSED meddling kids.
>>
>>23966876
>permanently harming countless babies
This is definitely factual, but I still wonder about it. There is no doubt that SCRIPTURE outright holds that circumcision was not required to be spread to us gentiles. Right there in SCRIPTURE it was debated and decided. Yet, here we are, having had it institutionalized throughout society on even secular levels, and the blame probably traces to corruption of the early institutional Christianity by JEWS.

BUT
>BUT
BUT

I am not convinced that there's not still something worthwhile to be found in it for those who look deeply enough within ourselves. Most of the psychological harms done, the traumas, would have been inflicted on us from this satanic world regardless, so it's possible that those circumcision traumas could somewhat help "prime" one for being better able to withstand the far more severe attacks later, /not unlike/ antibodies being introduced in tiny doses helping one to fight off more severe infections later.

I DO NOT CLAIM TO KNOW any of that, but it's something I'm studying into, pondering, considering and such. Well, I'm learning about traumas in general, to at least a more substantial degree than I'd ever had without overtly doing so, and the matter of circumcision is incredibly fascinating within the whole mix. But considering THA LORD GOD ALMIGHTY was the first to command it, and HE likes a humble, contrite heart and is far from the proud, then it might indeed hold profound value to those who look deeply within from the proper attitudinal orientation. Anything that helps us shift into modes of more humble humility will certainly put is more inline with Christ's commands and teachings.

That being said, if I had to put money on it, I'd say it "should" be eradicated, but "should" is one of the most dangerous of all words, as only THA LORD GOD ALMIGHTY knows how to use it with full accuracy.

VERY interesting subject.

I'll grant that further scientific study could be useful. Many ancient religious rules made practical sense back then, but have been confronted with new technology that solves the original problem. Pork is the classic example, as it often spread infections in ancient times, but can be made safe today. I think the original introduction of circumcision for Jews was meant to address hygiene problems among people wandering in the desert with no soap, no antibiotics, and water shortages, and the advancement of bathing technology (which had been spreading rapidly in Roman times) changed the physical calculus. I think scripture takes such subtleties into account even when it tells people what to do without explaining why. I'd allow people who are old enough to understand what they're doing to make choices for their own bodies.
>>
>>23967238
I doubt that the ultimate, actual, fundamental, full scope truths of the matter can /ever/ be accurately, completely, fully quantified, measured, and valued (good/bad) scientifically. "We" (humans) are limited to our own priorities, focuses, paradigms, etc. and are probably on the whole more often "wrong" than "right" and a lot of that can be rooted in the very goals that we have, what we value being achieved, etc. BUT, at the end of the day when you're dealing with matters of FAITH, it's /probably/ "best" to take the view you are expressing there, and leave as much to science as possible, and absolutely /not/ attempt to institutionalize religious beliefs/practices onto the /secular/ world.

I /personally/ try to walk by FAITH and not by sight, but that is my own decision and way, and I can be very, very wrong on essentially any matter, so I have zero business trying to institutionally impose anything from and of my FAITH onto anyone else. This includes countless things, chopping foreskin off babies being merely /one/. But that /one/ is pretty major...it's permanent genital mutilation on humans long before consent, much less consent with understanding, can be given, and "we now know" that it absolutely has profound psychological effects.

Yet as someone who had that done to me as a baby, and as someone who legit attempts/seeks to walk in legit FAITH, I treasure the degree that it helps to anchor my awareness, my psyche, in orientation toward THA LORD GOD ALMIGHTY in ways that cannot be put into /words/, cannot be /quantified/, cannot be /measured/ in any worldly, scientific way. I treasure /that/ for myself, but absolutely disagree with it being performed.

There are no easy, absolutely certain answers. That this world is FUBAR to levels of complexity and quagmire far beyond measure is about the only thing I do claim to truly "know".
>>
>>23967313
>I /personally/ try to walk by FAITH and not by sight, but that is my own decision and way, and I can be very, very wrong on essentially any matter, so I have zero business trying to institutionally impose anything from and of my FAITH onto anyone else
I should point out that this notion /scales/ beyond myself as an individual, up to groups. "We" (Christians or any other religious group) could be fundamentally, perhaps totally wrong, and thus have no business attempting to institutionally impose matters of /faith/ onto "the world". SCRIPTURE calls us /out of/ "the world", in fact. "The world" is essentially paradigmatic in that regard.

Gentlemen. Things that tend to happen at major market peaks:
Cross-asset volatility, particularly precious metals.
Forex volatility.
Index concentration.
Low intra-index correlation.
Tight credit spreads.
Low cash allocation.
High degree of retail speculation and household ownership.
Rotation into utilities and defensives. This time around, looks like we're getting a rotation into international as well. While these will likely outperform, do not mistake it for safety.
The odds of a final leg higher in tech have all but evaporated short of covid-style bazooka stimulus. Nobody has hedged, as evidenced by AAPL's behavior today. This was the start of institutional degrossing. If you begin to see across the board red, that's a good indication that true hedging has begun. Next week we have a Friday the 13th, opex on the 20th. Saylor is a loot pinata.

This one looked hopeless from the start. ALL FOUR ACES were at the top of their stacks, and each ace was in a stack of its own (couldn't hit any stack and dig two aces out of it). There were also TWO DUBS. I came very close to not playing the deal, but went head just to see, and actually solved it in less than a dozen minutes. Despite the very obvious obstacles, and it looking very doubtful up to a point during play, it wound up being surprisingly navigable.

REMINDER: If you have a go at using FREECELL to develop/exercise/expand your MIND, do not concern yourself with "winning/losing" or allow anything resembling "self esteem" to hinge on "how well you do". Just focus only on looking for patterns, strategies, mechanisms, movements, etc. and let it handle everything else organically.

Playing Go is about the same, once I let go of winning/losing I got tons better, not quick but steadily. It also taught me to respect yo opponent and never be too greedy. Go is very much a game of just keeping in line with yo opponent while applying just enough pressure to force a mistake. Can't tell ya how many games I lost because I went too hard on attack and gave my opponent multiple chances to wreck my shih. But the part about Go that more resembles the market is you can lose by 1 to 100ish points, so having a string of close losses is a sign of improvement while a string of 55 point losses tells ya you dumb and you need to hit the books again.

Haven't played inna while tho, maybe that's why I got creamed in futures trading today. Thought at the least id minimize losses. Can't be too hard today tho, it only presented roughly 20 minutes of ideal entry points scattered throughout the day, which puts today in the top tier of difficulty, usually about a random third is ideal for an entry. But other than today I've been getting closer to break even every other day.

Futures trading is hard cuz on some days you recognize the patterns when ya open up the charts, and you know today will suck so bad, and the market is programmed to hit everyone's stops, then when ya get a good trade you'll be paranoid so you'll close out too soon.

If next session is the same, imma need some PBR and Marlboro lights at the end of the day.
