So, someone installed two vending machines inside my university, in one of the buildings. I tried to shake that shit to get some freebies but they were anchored in place, no matter how hard I would shake it they wouldn't drop. I even tried to break it but it appears to be some sort of toughened glass that can take a lot of kicks. Eventually I left since the security guard was just staring at me for a while.

Is there any clever way to get freebies from the vending machine? Fool it, smash it, shake it, whatever. Like, come on, toughened glass? Seriously, how desperate do they think people are to get a chocolate bar

>Wants to steal from locked device
Lockpicker hobbyist here, you need something like pic related for a circular lock.
Vending machines usually come with an 8 pin tubular lock.
So yeah, you need something specially made for such locks
>>
>>23971152
OP is dormogenes, he's one 37yo greek dude who has spent the last 19 years living in a university for free kek. This is his 'job'.
>>
>>23971147
I did the same thing and the security camera got me , now they sent me back to thieves school
>>
>>23971155
does it also give you access to the money in it?
>>
>>23971147
you just select the code for the item you want then put money in its not complicated nigger
>>
>>23971153
Of course, if you are going to pic the lock you might as well take the cash in machine as well(which will have its own lock) because I'm pretty sure the criminal punishment is the same for either way
Also I would check your countries laws on carrying lockpicks, it's a crime in most states here to have such on ones person without a locksmith license because they are technically "robbery" tools.

I have seen people train small pets like ferrets or monkeys to climb in through the drop and knock shit down too.
>>
>>23971158
The money will have its own lockbox inside the machine usually, sometimes it's also a tubular lock, sometimes it's a regular key lock.
>>
>>23971161
can it be removed so you can deal with the lock later? or do you need to do it there? also you can just cut it right if you have the tools I guess

Open it with the key. Call the company and tell them there is a problem, and you need a technician.
>hello it’s Feta University, we had two vending machines installed, the one with serial number yyy is acting up, and we cannot open it.
>>
>>23971156
That guy is my hero.
>>
>>23971162
>can it be removed so you can deal with the lock later?
Yes, but it may require bypassing the lock to loosen it.
Because it is directly connected to the machine so that dollars or change inserted ends up in the lockbox
Also the owner will notice the lockbox missing, and then he will know a robbery has taken place, and then police will know(due to the lack of damage to machine locks) that it is someone using specialized tools.
Owner could then also decide "fuck these college shits" and remove the vending machines entirely
So it's generally not worth taking the cash unless you are desperately broke and it's an emergency because often it isn't much anyways

The less you take, the less noise you make, so just grab a soda and sandwiches if you want to truly get away with it.

I also would recommend you be smart, a B&E charge is the same for a vending machine as it is for home door.
I've never robbed a vending machine
But I have robbed a few drug dealers with a huge (1-8k$ plus free weed)payout(also not recommended unless you are a true cat burglar/boxer like I was in my 20s)

You need to know if there is any cctv, you need to find the make and model of vending machine to look up it's manual online so you know if there is any alarms, what security features it has, does it have a camera?
You should also know when the owner comes to refill it, you should be present at least one time to see him refill it, so you can see if it's the owner or someone that works for him, what they look like, and maybe get a look at what kind of lock is on the lockbox(failing finding the manual online)
See if there is any alarms on it.

There is a lot of work, HUMINT needed to do a proper robbery while minimizing risk.
Some new machines/security systems have video/audio recording and at the very least will inform owner via text that the machine has been opened.
You need to know how much time it's gonna take you to do each step because this is essential to not getting caught

more like throw a brick into it

The quietest way to break glass is with something that has a higher hardness scale than the glass
In California it's illegal to carry broken pieces of toilet porcelain on you because they are considered "ninja rocks" because they can break car windows real quietly due to their hardness level being higher than windshield glass.
>>
>>23971147
Pay your debts then pay for your candy.
>>
>>23971174
Spark plug porcelain is easier to find than chunks or toilet.
>>
>>23971174
>In California it's illegal to carry broken pieces of toilet porcelain on you
Is it also illegal to carry spark plugs?
What if your car needs a new spark plug?
>>
>>23971170
>Open it with the key.
Right, just use a time machine and place the key somewhere hidden nearby in the past after you obtain it in the future
>Call the company, ask for technician
Lol you silly, corporations don't invest in vending machines(except the ones that make it) because the return is too low for investors/shareholders
Vending machines are 99% of the time privately owned, the owner buys like anywhere from 6 to 20 of them, and then makes offers or contracts to each location/business/school to install his there(usually for free since he is doing all the work and it's a convenience that brings in customers) and makes weekly/biweekly rounds to restock and collect cash/change.

I know this because I went to a seminar by investors trying to sell them once as a "passive income maker"
And the kind of people that were also there were new money and small business owner types
>>
>>23971177
Or what if you're on a bicycle when a car cuts you off and you think they might need a new spark plug so you throw a spark plug at their window?
>>
>>23971177
You can get away with a spark plug, but often the tip of the plug is not porcelain and it cannot quietly break the glass because it isn't edged like a broken piece is(the reason the break with these is quiet it because the edge cracks the glass before going through)
>>23971176
>Spark plug porcelain is easier to find than chunks or toilet.
Lmao are you posting from india on a VPN saar?
You don't know where to find a toilet?
For real?
Like seriously
>Take backback or gym back into privately owned restaurant restroom
>Remove back cover for toilet
>Place in bag

Zoomers are retarded.
Just make a gank buck.
They work on most vending machines.
The key is to make one with a 5 or 10 and clean out the self service car washes.
>>
>>23971148
No. You're supposed to romance the women. Not throw them.
>>
I made my first gank buck in the mid 90’s.
I use to ride my bike around hitting the car washes. Nothing like having a 100lb backpack full of quarters.
>>
>>23971147
You can literally just order a key with a few pins that opens those circular locks, which are some of the easiest to pick.
>>
>>23971184
>You can literally just
You think this guy would be trying to steal food from a vending machine if he had disposable income?
>>
>>23971147
whats super funny is someone showed you could take the housing of a pen (the tube part) and insert it into the circular key that opens the refill door. and just grab whatever. sometimes it worked for the cash box as well (but apparently not always)

they put it on youtube for everyone and mom to see and the companies changed their key design.

but you might find an older machine someone purchased as a vender and try it but we know that's not trad behavior and is degenerate.

stop being a degenerate scumbag. pay for your food. its less degenerate to look under it and look for dropped change. that's free territory. go for it
>>
>>23971184
I bought my first car with a pay phone key that I got from someone on phonelosersofamerica.org.
I was able to get 8k saved up in like 3 weeks. Back in the 90’s that was a lot of money.

>>23971187
that is so fucking degenerate. I heard of people doing that.
my guess is the pen housing trick sometimes worked. people used to post this info on web forums in the 1990s. and people bragged about doing it.

Ah yes, the failed dollar tape hack, when the lasers detect too much reflection bouncing of the dollar being scanned it will reject it.
It might work on an older machine from the 90s but I seriously doubt this is worth the time

God forbid the goyim learn a Jewish trick.
>>
>>23971241
Speaking of Jewish tricks, here's one for you lads, it's called "Jewish lemonade"(no I'm not kidding this is the name of it)
When dining out, order just water, with some sliced lemon(they don't charge for this in most places)
Squeeze the lemons into your water
Then you grab the container for tea and coffee sugar(usually one at each table in 24 hour diners, truck stop diners, Denny's and Ihops)
Use the sugar packets to dump in lemon water, stir with spoon
Bam, free lemonade!
>>
One of the tricks we used to do is jam foam up behind the change return door on some pay phones and vending machines. (Some styles didn’t allow it).

When people would hang up an unanswered call, the phone would kick their 25-35 cents back but it would get jammed up. I had a little route I would keep set up and check. Sometimes you would get like $20 per when you pulled out the foam.

KONEC HRY
>>
>>23971254
OG knowledge. but they don't usually give you water unless you order shit.
and now they charge for bottle water.

it's super weird to order a lunch platter, ask for just water and them saying "what brand". and give a list of bottle water. you must specify tap which they bring half warm and it smells because they don't run the tap as often as they should. even with the dishwashers going.

everything is cringe today.

I'm in Ukraine and I wouldn't do any of these.
