Just realized what is the actual point of getting older? No one's gonna give a fuck about you, not even older people,, who are resentful they're now limited to interacting only with other olds. Anything you do in life or create only has value in the context of you also being young. I really see no other option but to just give up and exit once you've passed that point
>>24057100The point of getting older is to raise the young properly and ensure their prosperity
have kids and take care of your family, your kids and your grandkids need you
>>24057100:pol/ tards have nobody once they get older
I communicate with 20 year olds all the time. They are getting old also.
Logan's Run got a few things right.
>>24057100It's usually because you're too big of a bitch to kill yourself.

>>24057100Getting older eases you into accepting your own mortality.
Most Zoomers expect to live off their parents the rest of their lives. It's the way of the current generation. I've never seen a generation so utterly helpless as Zoomers. They all plan on getting a mental disability and being a NEET.
You grow within the community you build, don't be a recluse who plays league alone all fucking day
>>24057108What if you're born to die?
The "point" of getting old is that you have to spend a lot of points on the genetic skill tree to achieve immortality, and organisms which instead spent them on adaptations to increase reproductive success proliferated
>>24057100You guys are all atheists.
>>24057110Living past 80 doesn't benefit your community in any way whatsoever, the very elderly and frail don't contribute and are a burden because they have many medical needs and need to be watched/cared for like a child
>>24057101So the point of life is still basically being young, or ensuring the younth have a good 8 years old so of being young...
>>24057115The youth are just the vehicle that rides into the future. The point of life is living, and so all of it is a network that pushes more life into the future
>>24057116Youth and peaking at something then transcends EVERYTHING. When we peel back the veil, it's the only thing that has value to everyone in this world All other institutions and constructs, politics, philosophy, careers, sciences, architecture, design, hobbies, power, wealth, etc (even marriage) are just distractions to preoccupy people through their long extended meaningless lives roughly 30-90. All of that shit literally ceases to matter if you accept honorably bowing out after your peak, to spare yourself the humiliation of aging
>>24057117You're talking about an aspect of human psychology related to mate selection. That's important... it's meant to override other normal considerations, but it's not the only thing.
