Generally speaking I would go to the bar, look around, make eye contact with a woman and smile. If she doesn't look away go over to her after ordering your drink and introduce yourself. Ask about what she ordered and let her know what you ordered etc.This is literally all it required for me to hook up with chicks at Uni and in my home town.
